Mi è piaciuto Fourth time here this year. Perfect place for us to spend a couple of nights. Good toilet and shower block plus plenty of space on the field to park up. The walks from the campsite take you around fields then into woodland at Thornham Walks where the cafe does a fabulous cream tea. The walled garden sells well priced plants. 10 minutes further and you are at a pub with good beer and super food.

Mi è piaciuto Only 3 other units on site for the 2 nights we spent here. The welcome pack was a fabulous touch. Very clean, modern facilities. Welcoming owners. The maps provided allowed us to walk mostly off road to Friston and Snape Maltings (lovely place to spend a few hours). So many quiet walks which were perfect for us and our dog. Unbelievably excellent value for money with electric.

Mi è piaciuto Modern clean facilities. Plenty of space around pitches. Lots of local walks and a couple of very nice pubs.

Mi è piaciuto Wide open spaces surrounded by countryside. You can walk for hours. Our dog lived it. Wildlife everywhere. Good facilities for a bargain price. We liked it sp much we have added an extra night to our trip so that we can return.

Mi è piaciuto Great location for Faversham, Whitstable and Herne Bay - all worth a visit. Clean amenities. Friendly hosts. Deserving of its high rating.

Mi è piaciuto Friendly host and family. Large, level pitch. Modern clean facilities. Good location with walks to the local farm shop and village. Brilliant honesty shop where you can pay by contactless.

Mi è piaciuto We wanted a quiet, natural setting and this delivered. Alan is the perfect host and has, over the last 30 years, created a haven for wildlife. If you want to leave the busy world behind to relax and unwind surrounded by nature then this could be the place for you. It recharged our batteries.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely, quiet field behind an amazing country pub that served fabulous food and drink - the pie was superb. Basic, simple amenities with plenty of hot water. Pleasant half-hour walk either across fields (the 1066 walk) or via the roads brings you to Herstmonceux Castle where you can spend a pleasant few hours walking around the grounds and enjoying the tea-rooms.
