Mi è piaciuto Nicely maintained site, lots of trees/shrubs and general planting fo give interest. Facilities are very good and kept in good condition. Direct access to the Granit Way for either Okehampton ot Lydford. Pump and Pedals cafe next door. Dartmoor walks direct from site. Nice, friendly welcome!

Non mi è piaciuto Traffic noise, but you know that when you book. To be fair, it dies down considerably at night.

Mi è piaciuto Spacious pitches with lovely views. Really well kept. No facilities except electricity, water, and waste disposal. Very near to a nice village with shops, cafes, pubs. Farm eggs on site.Very quiet.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely, immaculate community site right next to Pendine Sands. Spacious level pitches. No facilities, just electric, water and waste disposal. Every community needs a site like this.

Mi è piaciuto Immaculate facilities, flat pitch with lovely views. Pitch size was large. Near historic village.

Non mi è piaciuto Charging for shower. This should never happen. Push buttons, yes. Tokens, OK. But you've charged for parking in a field, you don't need to charge for showers. So I used my van shower, using your electricity.

Mi è piaciuto This is a lovely farm site, beautifully kept with facilities to match. Brimming with wildlife, lots of walking straight from the site. The local village has bus links both ways through to Scarborough or York. The pub is very welcoming with great food, (not open Mondays or Tuesdays). Home cooked pizza's on site Fridays and Tuesdays. You can even watch the cows being milked. Just a great site.

Mi è piaciuto You've got to wind into this place, those used to organised, regimented sites will struggle here. It's essentially wild camping with added bits, like composting loos, outdoor (hot) shower and "pitch wherever you wish". It's all grass, some longish, almost nowhere is level, but normal levelling ramps sort this. It's within 10 mins walk to Bovey Tracey or the National Trust's Parke House, the Templar Way and Yarner Woods make a good walk. If you like quiet, unfussy sites then this is for you.

Non mi è piaciuto Short walk down a busy, narrow lane to reach Bovey or Parke, take care. A little expnsive, but maybe a sign of the times. No wi-fi, but good mobile signal (EE and 3).

Mi è piaciuto We thought that the site was peaceful, quiet and spacious. The RSPB nature trail nearby was lovely, running alongside the loch and well surfaced. The site's facilities were first class. The only downside on our pitch was the lackofwifi,we seemed to be in a dead spot, maybe due to the angle of the transmitters. Otherwise, we would recommend this site.

Mi è piaciuto Very quiet, level site, lots of trees and orchards. Electric hookup. The pub is very nice with great food offered in the evenings. Very handy for the National Arboretum.

Non mi è piaciuto Lack of water taps for filling the van. Didn't seem to be any chemical toilet emptying facilities. Bit of an "end of season" feel. Nothing else.
