Non mi è piaciuto Very exposed location so can be very windy. One toilet didn't flush properly and there are only two of them which meant queues when the site got busy at weekends. Lack of hooks or shelves for towels and clothes in the showers which were pretty cramped especially if trying to shower young children, the cubicles were also often full of water. The dough in the pizza I had from the site pizza van wasn't cooked.

Dal gestore: Hi Hugh, Thank you for your review. You were staying during the busiest bank holiday weekend of the summer. There was a storm when you were onsite. We have 2 shower blocks the family ones are huge with a dressing area sink and clothes hooks. There are many toilets and urinals. We check them several times a day to make sure they are clean and all well stocked. As you can see from other reviews everybody seems so happy. There are a lot of positive things like a stunning view, food and drink onsite. we are family and dog friendly with a private dog exercising field, you can walk to Padstow directly from the site on the footpath or take a bus every hour into Padstow and beyond from outside the site. Stay in a bell tent with beds and furnishings. Everybody seemed to really enjoy there stay especially waking up to fresh coffee and breakfast being served everyday together with a lovely evening menu. Also free WiFi.

Mi è piaciuto Everything! . A lovely campsite in a lovely location. Great facilities and so friendly. I can't find a fault.

Mi è piaciuto Available space, proximity to beach, helpful staff, freezer, phone charging, hot showers (but cubicles rather small for families with young children).

Non mi è piaciuto Toilets not cleaned properly (especially under the seat) and one broken seat. No cover over washing up area and variable hot water supply. No mirrors in the showers and some of the toilets. Nettles in the field which wasn't particularly flat. Traffic through Braunton!

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely everything!! The site is well looked after and kept spotlessly clean, the only time it seemed that you had to wait for one of the two very functional compost toilets was when they were being cleaned! The barn is a wonderful place to just chill and meet other parents and children, and have a cup of the complimentary tea. It's well stocked with fridges, freezers, a microwave and charging points. I was holidaying on my own with my 5-year old grandson and he was able to have the run of the whole site in complete safety. All the other campers were lovely people so thanks to them as well for making our holiday so relaxed and enjoyable. One word of caution - like in much of South Devon the lanes leading to the site and to the local beaches are very narrow so make sure you know the width of your car! NB: The mobile signal on the site is really good if you're on Vodafone but pits if you're on Three (I took two phones one on each), there is no wifi but you can run a hotspot if needed. The owners are also happy for you to use firepits as well as BBQs as long as they are raised off the ground (they provide bricks to do this).

Mi è piaciuto Lovely quiet campsite with oodles of space. Facilities limited (no showers) but I knew this before we arrived and they were kept very clean. Plenty of wood for the firepit that I brought with me. The owner Diane was so helpful and friendly. Thanks for making my 4-year old grandson's first camp such a spectacular success. I'm sure I'll be back (just like so many of the other campers that I spoke to).

Non mi è piaciuto No camp signpost so I wasn't sure I'd arrived at the right place! Wifi a bit temperamental and doesn't cover much of the site.

Mi è piaciuto Large site with unmarked pitches. Toilet tissue provided. Location for walking. Reasonable prices.

Non mi è piaciuto Very few toilets for hundreds of people - this needs fixing. Also very long walk to all amenities. Some pitches liable to flooding.
