Mi è piaciuto The pool was really nice. It wasn’t too crowded. People friendly and lots of the residents are happy to see you and say hello. Showers were good temperature and pressure. The bar and restaurant was really good and there is a lovely walk for the dog out the back of the restaurant and beyond. Drinking water on pitch. Nice but steep (or long if you go the other way) into town which was very pleasant.

Non mi è piaciuto Pitch size was quite small and exposed. The majority of the time we were there no one was next to us so we could put chairs out but we needed to put up an annex due to the weather which left us with very little space on the pitch when we did have neighbours. There was also a bit of a bad smell due to being near the toilet block.

Non mi è piaciuto No music allowed at all. Understand it’s because people are leaving early to get connections but no music at all felt too strict.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful surroundings. Great restaurant and bar with excellent service. Showers good temperature and pressure. Clean and well maintained. Overall an excellent place to be.

Mi è piaciuto Fantastic location The couple who run the site are so friendly. They made such an effort with everyone, even our very excited and noisy beagle Billie who was adored Simon and his treats jar. The facilities are clean The shower was good (consistent hot water)

Mi è piaciuto Swallow farm is a lovely, charming place. Tracy and Colin are so welcoming, you can feel how much they love hosting. They are attentive, chatty and happy to recommend places to visit. The site is set in beautiful countryside and has sheep, llamas, goats and pigs which you can feed. It’s a wonderful site which we would love to come back to.

Mi è piaciuto The site is in a really beautiful setting, well maintained and has open water for paddle boarding swimming. No need to hire the board bring your own. It is full of families and dogs having the time of their lives.

Non mi è piaciuto The toilets are ok but showers are not great. You have to repeatedly press the button to get the water to run. Bring cable ties or something to hold the button in and that makes it a slightly better experience. Toilets and shower in the same room so can be humid when someone just showered.

Dal gestore: Yay - pleased you enjoyed yourselves. With the showers - yes someone has just mentioned the timing has gone a bit off - so we are just going through them all to extend the time! Not sure why one in particular had gone to only about 8 seconds, so thanks for bringing to our attention......hopefully you can return for a longer shower another time! Sorry!!!!

Mi è piaciuto Really liked this place. The pub is nice and friendly with good ales. There was some live music on the Saturday which was really fun. The area is lovely with nice walks and loads of pubs. It’s a great site, very reasonably priced.

Non mi è piaciuto The only tiny criticism was that they close the toilets (which are currently in the pub) at 9-10 everyday to clean but in reality it ends up being longer than an hour by the time it’s open again to use. However they are in the process of making an outdoor wet room and toilet which will help.

Mi è piaciuto Very friendly, clean, great facilities and the dog run is just perfect for letting the dog meet the neighbours and play a bit of frisbee in an enclosed and dedicated dog field.

Mi è piaciuto It was so friendly, clean and in a beautiful location. There is a real emphasis on family and dogs and it makes the place feel very safe. The dog run is such a great idea, having somewhere we could let our dog off and meet some of the other dogs on the site was an expected bonus. There is a pub which is in the village and is half hour walk and worth a visit.

Mi è piaciuto The site is in a beautiful area. It’s close to Alton Towers and this is why we booked this site, as well as being next to a country pub. Farm yard with play ground for little kids and good for dog waking.

Non mi è piaciuto The site is an after thought. It’s primarily a pub with land at the back. However we didn’t actually visit the pub because the first night we were there we were turned away. We were told no food and dismissed on the spot due to an unadvertised staff meeting leaving us stood in the rain with the 2 hungry teens and no way of making food due to an absolute wash out. The chef was kind enough to offer us a lift to another pub down the road which was the only customer service we were offered. We declined but welcomed his efforts at least. There was one toilet and one toilet/shower which were not particularly clean and there was not enough facilities for the site. Overall, the lack of customer service and cleanliness compared to all the other sites we visited hugely let this place down.

That's why there was a Staff meeting in the evening . - You are the 1ST PERSON TO ever mention lack of customer service , you only have to read all other previous comments. - This site is as you say in a Field behind a Pub , we do not advertise it as a fully fledged Holiday resort . We have only been operating x2 yrs so i think we have done wonders over that time , again look at all other previous comments . Regards Team Charlies

Mi è piaciuto Site is in the beautiful Shropshire hills where you get dark skies so we saw the most gorgeous starry skies with shooting stars and the milkyway visible with the naked eye. It’s clean and the pitch was a good size.

Non mi è piaciuto There wasn’t enough toilets and the eco showers seemed to be locked so getting access to the one other shower was challenging. There was no way of seeing if anyone was in the shower either which meant If you were in there people constantly tried the door, which felt uncomfortable with the set up of the shower right near the door. Wi-Fi is rubbish but to be expected in the countryside. Teenagers were not best pleased.

Mi è piaciuto It’s a beautiful place with a lovely little stream and rolling hills. The facilities were clean and there was enough of them to feel like you weren’t waiting ages for others. Staff very helpful. Nice little village for walking the dog. Surrounded by sheep, cows and sheep. Quiet enough but not so much that you feel like you can’t enjoy yourself with some music and a laugh around the campfire.

Non mi è piaciuto There is no pub or shop near by so you are looking at a 15 min drive to get bits. The site does provide some BBQ essentials at a reasonable price of you do forget.

Mi è piaciuto The site is in a beautiful spot, with a charming church as the backdrop. The pub itself was so friendly, the food was very good! Reasonably priced and just great value for money. We got extra lucky with a live band on the Saturday so free entertainment too. The toilet blocks were clean and well stocked and the shower is free.

Non mi è piaciuto There was no hot water in the shower cubicle on Sunday AM but I really am nit picking.
