Mi è piaciuto We absolutely love this site! We have returned many times over the years and have also had the pleasure of staying in one of the shepherd huts. It is such a peaceful and relaxing place, with spacious pitches that offer plenty of privacy thanks to the hedges between each pitch. Each pitch also has its own water and electricity, which makes staying here really convenient. Joanne is a fantastic host – friendly, welcoming and always approachable. The facilities are consistently clean and tidy, and the shower facilities are excellent, with a great shower area and attached changing space. An added bonus for us is that the site is dog-free. My wife has a fear of dogs, so knowing that dogs aren't allowed means she can relax and enjoy the site without worrying about encountering them. We always enjoy our stays here and look forward to returning again soon. Highly recommended!

Mi è piaciuto Simon is a fantastic host – always friendly, welcoming and happy to help, with a smile on his face. We have returned to this site many times because of his excellent hospitality, as well as the calm, peaceful atmosphere it offers. The site is always immaculately clean and well maintained, and the shower and toilet facilities are excellent. The spacious pitches provide plenty of privacy, with hedges separating each one, making it feel peaceful and secluded. We always have a wonderful stay here and are already looking forward to returning again soon.

Mi è piaciuto Everything about our stay was excellent. Simon is a fantastic host — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout. The facilities were spotless and very well maintained, with hot showers and toilets that were cleaned regularly. Each pitch is separated by its own hedged border, giving plenty of privacy and making the site feel peaceful and relaxing. Electric hook-ups are available at a very reasonable price. The adults-only setting adds to the calm atmosphere, and dogs are welcome too, provided they stay on a lead. The location is also ideal, with lots of lovely places nearby to explore and visit. We had a truly relaxing stay and would happily return.

Mi è piaciuto Everything! This is our 4th visit. We have stayed twice in our T6 campervan and twice in the 'Peregrine' Shepherds hut. The place is so peaceful and relaxing and owners are very welcoming. Always clean and tidy. Great facilities and the shepherds hut has everything we need to relax and enjoy our stay. We will be returning - just checking dates! Highly recommend as a place to rest and reset.

Mi è piaciuto This is our third visit this year. We love how calm and peaceful it can be and how great the facilities are. Joanne is really helpful and makes you feel welcomed. We normally stay in our VW T6, but decided to try out one of the Shepherds huts. We stayed in 'Peregrine' and it had everything you needed for a lovely weekend away. Really cosy, clean and comfortable, with a shower and toilet included. We will definitely look to book again. Great space to either chill for the day or have a base to go exploring.

Mi è piaciuto This is our second stay, as we only stayed for a couple of nights October last year, to try out our new VW T6 - we definitely wanted to return for longer. Spacious, well maintained pitches - peaceful and relaxing. EHU and drinking water available. Clean bathrooms and individualised shower/toilet combos - also a family room with bigger cubicles. Beautifully set out with plenty of benches and gorgeous flower displays. Lovely children's play area. Friendly staff. Book swap station. Great base to visit the surrounding areas - particularly enjoyed our visit to Brecon Mountain railway station and would recommend pre-booking the afternoon tea! Beautiful sunrise/sunset opportunities. Plenty of bins for rubbish and recycling. Indoor washing up facilities. Washing machines available.

Mi è piaciuto This was our return visit, as we loved our stay in April. Clean toilet and shower blocks. Spacious pitches, bordered for privacy, with EHU and water available. No dogs allowed on site. Great set up and helpful, friendly hosts. Will definitely return again and again. Peaceful getaway and close to the Forest of Dean, to enjoy a walk and a picnic. Wonderful sunset/sunrise opportunities. Tasty homemade apple juice available, made from the apple blossom trees onsite.

Mi è piaciuto Welcoming host - Simon. Met us on arrival, gave us a tour and explained housekeeping. Clean showers and toilets. A smaller site, but spacious pitches - just how we like it - no overcrowding and not busy/loud. Very peaceful. Only stayed the night, as had the weekend off work - but looking to book again for a longer stay. Close to Llandeilo and Carmarthen and we are looking forward to returning to be closer to one of our favourite beaches - Llansteffan.

Mi è piaciuto Welcoming staff. Clean and well kept toilet and shower areas. Spacious individual pitches, with shrub borders for further privacy. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful surroundings and blossom trees. Perfect spot for a beautiful sunrise and/or sunset and to relax and switch off.

Mi è piaciuto Welcoming staff. Clean facilities - can see why they have won awards. Loved the toilet and shower combos - much easier to get yourself sorted for the day. Gorgeous views - lucky enough to have some winter sun to see a sunset and sunrise. Plenty of space - a little quieter, so had the choice of pitches. Pitch 13 gives the best view. Pitch 21 was good for being closer to the toilets. So peaceful - just what we needed. Great play area for families.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful surroundings. Gorgeous layout. Comfortable bed. Cosy bedding and extra blankets. Relaxing atmosphere. Kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Communication with hosts was very good - prior to arriving. Helpful, kind and caring host whilst we were there (Nim's Mum). Perfect spot to complete my self Reiki whilst listening to nature.

Mi è piaciuto Great hosts - very friendly and helpful. Clean showers and toilets, with a great choice of toiletries if you've forgotten to pack something (toothbrush, shampoo etc). Honesty shed - for purchasing firewood, local cakes and gifts. Plenty of fire pits for use. No pets allowed. Gorgeous views.

Mi è piaciuto Clean toilets and showers. Friendly staff. Easy to access electric hook up. Pitch ready on arrival. Easy access, with number plate recognition. Plenty of green space top walk and relax. New steps and path cleared, to access the adjoining field - where the children can play, you can walk the dog or just take a picnic and enjoy the fresh air. Free Wifi.

Mi è piaciuto Helpful and friendly staff. Clean showers and toilets, with hot water available at all times. Requested to be close to the toilets/showers and this was granted. Lovely farm shop close by, to enjoy a cream tea. Free wifi and easy to set up. Clean and tidy site. A few choices for walking, depending on distance and ability.

Mi è piaciuto Once you arrive, you automatically walk straight to the newly built viewing area (which has plenty of picnic benches) to admire the stunning view. There are two modern showers, with a toilet each, as well as two separate toilets. All were cleaned at least three times a day. There's also a sink and washing up area, which was kept clean and tidy. We met the owner, on a few occasions and he was always friendly, chatty and helpful.
