Mi è piaciuto The pitches with hot tubs were great - the bar was good and walking around the site was lovely past the lake. The shop was good and reasonable. We didn’t use any of the child friendly facilities but they all seem to be enjoying them

Non mi è piaciuto The dog walking field was covered in dog poo that other owners hadn’t picked up, more signs should be placed - and the coastal walk to the beach was a lot further than implied on the details. WiFi although free was very hit and miss.

Mi è piaciuto Great site we use often as close to our daughter - think we had the best pitch we’ve had there this time so will be asking for it next time :-)

Mi è piaciuto Great site with good facilities, quiet and clean and tidy with great views the restaurant was a great asset to this site especially the designated dog dining area :-) great wifi too :-)

Non mi è piaciuto The shower was slightly small but usable Although the soap dish was very high up and at 4ft 10 I couldn’t reach it 🤪and the road to the walk up toKit hill was very fast with no pavement likewise to the bus stop so not great especially with dogs

Mi è piaciuto Great little site and facilities - lovely walks from the site and an amazing farm shop just up the road connected to the site. Great village with pub and walks along the Severn

Non mi è piaciuto We will ask for a pitch away from the stream next time as everytime someone walked past our dogs barked - our problem but would have made our stay more relaxing on the other side :-). Also the group in the two tents who arrived next to us on our last night were very loud until 2am.

Mi è piaciuto Pitch was large and flat but a little too shady nice to have it fully serviced

Non mi è piaciuto Size of site was massive. the pub only served greasy food not a salad on the menu and only bottle beer no cask. The pool was overcrowded and the reception only gave basic information. Also would be good to have an arrow system around the one way roads. The toilets were very dimly lit. Would have thought a site that size would have some form of evening entertainment but wasn’t told of any and didn’t see anything advertised. Also had to pay for wifi and only option was one or 4 days we only stayed two so cost the same as it would have for four days.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely park, great for couples or families, very clean and tidy. Nice to have hedges between pitches. Good walks from pitch especially around the local mines and the beach not too far away. The pool was great for our grandchildren.

Non mi è piaciuto Not really a dislike, the pool was a little small if more than 8 people were in it and also the signs for the dog field went into a caravan storage field which we were unsure as to whether that was the dog field?

Dal gestore: Thanks for the great review and lovely photos Louise :) Our indoor heated swimming pool is perfect for young children but not large enough for big groups or those wanting to swim lengths but we do have 'Carn Brea Leisure Centre' just a couple of miles down the road for those needing a bit more space. Dogs can be off lead for exercise in 'Starling' field which also houses caravan storage around the parameter.

Mi è piaciuto Pitched was great and close to all Amenities dog friendly in most areas we visited - bus stop right outside entrance.

Non mi è piaciuto Pub linked to site looks like a lovely old pub but has been stripped of the character inside as it caters for the campsite which is a shame. food was ok but catered for numbers not quality not great pub food no atmosphere inside.
