Mi è piaciuto contactless check in suited us brilliantly as we enjoyed a day out and didn't feel any pressure to arrive before reception closed. spotless, and I am very funny about cleanliness. all areas were lovely and clean, modern and looked after. only 6 pods and its gated off so the kids had freedom to roam, going car free gives you peace of mind. bed was comfy, quilts lovely and warm although the radiators did heat the room perfectly also. no complaints from the kids over the sofa bed. very spacious pods, we have stayed in pods that have their own bathrooms and they have always been lacking in space but these were perfect. close to the chippy, newsagents & bakery. really peaceful setting & loved our short stay. lovely that you raise money for charity also. lots of history in the area, great base travelling to these places. we really loved our stay, thank you.

Non mi è piaciuto unable to connect to WiFi. only really needed when asking kids to wind down in wet weather, but it would not be a deal breaker and wouldn't stop us visiting again.

Mi è piaciuto Was on the lower level. Lovely spacious pitches under the trees. Was so beautiful at night and peaceful in the day. Very clean shower unit and toilets. Modern cafe area. Very helpful staff. Loved the fact it was car free so children had freedom to roam. Very quiet after 10pm.

Non mi è piaciuto The steps and slope to the lower level were tricky, so would have been perfect to have a shower unit on the lower level, or at the very least a place to clean out our own toilets. Frogs everywhere 😫

Non mi è piaciuto The showers although clean,we're awful. Especially the first two in the womens block. Twice we went for food at the restaurant attached to the pool and was unable to get food as there wasn't enough, it was an hour and half before closing time. Park was lacking, needs updating and is only really aimed at young children. Shop on site was lacking a lot of essentials. Not a lot to do onsite, but was clean and quiet. Walk to the shower block and toilet wasn't great. I paid for bedding and my friend didn't, we both got it and the bed sheets are not fitted so move constantly.

Mi è piaciuto Stayed in the pods, which were lovely and clean. The swimming pool was clean and easy to book at reception and the club house food was delicious and fast to come out, even when it was busy. The entertainment was good, although we didn't take part with a lot of it. The site was good for young children, mine aged 6 to 11. They lived the arcade, but it was expensive.

Non mi è piaciuto The toilet and shower block near the pods was poor. It was dated, there was hot water in only one shower and it was often grubby. The walkway to the pods was extremely muddy, we spent the entire 4 days covered in mud no matter how we tried to avoid it, and it really does ruin the experience. Also no where to off load muddy shoes and no mop in the pod so we had to battle it in there too. I'm sure in a caravan this place is good, as they have concrete pathways, but u wouldn't recommend a pod unless you go in drier months.

Mi è piaciuto Very clean facilities, quiet and able to pick own pitch. Very close to supermarket, fast food and parks. Wasn't anything to do on site, was just a field and shower block, but that's all we was looking for anyway. Great value for money, I do recommend this site and would return.

Non mi è piaciuto Dog poo on the field, although that's down to the people that was staying there and not the site.
