Mi è piaciuto The best toilet and shower facilities I’ve ever seen on a campsite. Very clean. The campsite is located next to a beautiful river with views of the Welsh hills. Idyllic spot with a short walk to a decent pub serving good food. Would definitely stay here again.

Mi è piaciuto We stayed on the hard standing pitches with water and electric hook-up. The site was easy to get to, a friend had just bought a motorhome and this was her first trip out in it, so she didn't want to have to navigate thin, windy lanes. The pitches were a nice size and there were a number of picnic tables available that you could move onto your pitch. The shower block was basic, but clean with ample toilet roll. The pub was friendly and the food was reasonably priced and tasty, albeit we booked in after a group of 11 diners so had a bit of a wait until our meals were served. There was a singer on the Friday night (which we didn't go to) and a karaoke on the Saturday night.

Non mi è piaciuto The site is situated next to a railway line and whilst we appreciated there would be some train noise we weren't expecting the significant number of trains running through the night on the Friday and were awoken a number of times.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely site in a beautiful setting. We had originally booked non-EHU pitches but after an inverter issue, they had no issue with me upgrading my stay and moving onto an EHU pitch. The amenities were basic but very clean and the showers had plenty of hot water. A stones throw from a lovely dog-friendly country pub with open fires and great food.

Mi è piaciuto We booked this site for a group mountain biking weekend in Hamsterley Forest. The site was a 10 minute drive away from the forest itself, so conveniently located. We received a lovely warm welcome on arrival. The facilities were nice and clean with spare loo roll. Lovely hot showers too. The site itself was lovely, well kept with nice views of the countryside. The onsite cafe opened as a bar at 6pm with a small but tasty selection of reasonably priced food and a great choice of drinks, including a long list of cocktails. The staff were extremely friendly and made you feel incredibly welcome. Even the dog was fussed over. He got a sausage especially cooked for him in the bar, and the member of staff even blew on it to cool it down for him. Loved it, will definitely visit again.

Mi è piaciuto The location was lovely, having a pub serving food was an absolute bonus.

Non mi è piaciuto The camping pitches were not well managed. I had prebooked and still struggled to park in a decent location. There was a football goal post making a good deal of the site unavailable.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely site situated in nice surroundings. The showers were fabulous! Very clean. The hard standing pitches offered lots of room with a large grassed area to the left of the pitch.
