Mi è piaciuto I stayed from Tuesday to Friday, I liked that you pick your own spot and it feels like wild camping but you have the benefit of a well kept toilet and shower block, a launderette and lockers (free to use) where you can charge your phones/ipad, but take a padlock to secure the locker. The weekday vibe during school time is idyllic, nice and quiet, the ponies come right up and graze around the pitches. The vibe changed a little on the Friday when families arrived, when you select your pitch there is only a six foot gap rule between pitches so you are relient on people applying camping etiquette or it can feel a little intrusive. It’s a shame there isn’t an adult only enclosure. I note other reviews commented on road noise, but if you pick a pitch farthest from the road near to the field this isn’t a problem. This is a great site, the staff are friendly and helpful, the village is an easy 20 minute walk away and there is direct access from the site to walking trails through the forest.

Mi è piaciuto Nice large field where you could select your own pitch. The pitches were fairly level. The pub is a definite bonus, good food and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Facilities were basic but adequate and kept clean by the staff. Nearby village has a great coffee shop Geos, the frappes are amazing. Number 98 bus stop 3 minute walk from site, 5 minute drive or an east 50 minute walk but it is all along a main road.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing to dislike just be aware if you want a camp fire best to take your own pit as there aren’t many on site and the condition of them isn’t great.

Mi è piaciuto Spotlessly clean, good facilities, toilets, showers, washroom, laundry, dishwashing. Vending machines open 24/7 that sell everything from milk to ready meals. Pub 5 minute walk along the road. Friendly staff.

Mi è piaciuto Great customer service, really friendly owner. Pizza and drinks available to buy on Saturday night, also Ice cream van comes into site on Saturday. Spacious pitches Campfire pit. Pub within walking distance.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely location, nice walks and pub short walk down the road. Friendly helpful staff. Basic facilities but perfectly adequate, flushing toilets, female only toilet nice touch. Level grass pitches nicely spaced each with a fire pit, logs can be purchased from staff when they come round in the evening, you can also order and purchase fridge items. This is a really peaceful site, no music and quiet time at 8pm, made it an ideal restful break.

Mi è piaciuto I just stayed the one night. Reasonably spaced gravel pitches, at the rear of a pub, had read previous reviews about road noise but I didn’t hear the road at all. The shower and toilet are a few yards away from the pitches. Had a nice quiet stay.

Mi è piaciuto had a great stay at Earth Camp a very well run site by Will & Rachel. The ground is quite slopey and uneven in places, I was in a camper van but will offers the loan if chocks to even you up if needed. The compost loos, showers and washing up areas are kept very clean. It’s a very peaceful site and offers massage therapies and yoga sessions which was a definite bonus. It’s a great site for kids with a lovely area in the woods with a fairy grotto and rope swing. There are also some lovely woodland walks straight from the site. Will & Rachel were wonderful hosts very welcoming and helpful.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful setting, parked up right next to river, lovely walks directly from campsite. There is a basic toilet block with two flushing toilets, and a cubicle with sink with hot water. Drinking water stand pipes fitted around the camp. You can pick your own pitch fire pits available.

Non mi è piaciuto The gate entry is a little inconvenient, there is a notice saying check in with reception on arrival but no indication where reception is, so just be aware you need to go to the farmhouse on arrival

Mi è piaciuto The owners were friendly. Good location for some great walks to the waterfalls. Able to pick your own camping spot. It’s a very basic site but adequate, there are 3 portaloos in the main field, also 3 shower cubicles but these weren’t working yet. There are showers and toilets in the farm yard that you can use. Also in main field there’s a place to wash up, drinking water tap and industrial size bins. The site was nice a peaceful. If you are walking take suitable footwear.
