Site nice and quiet at a good time in the evening so not for those coming to party late but that's the way we like it! Clean facilities and well located for short drives out to local beaches. Child friendly with a selection of fossils to see, space hoppers and games to borrow and a play area.

Thank you very much for your lovely review. Yes we are very much a family oriented site, rowdy groups might be better elsewhere. The happy sound of children playing is completely acceptable until the sun sets and darkness falls.

Non mi è piaciuto: We didn't dislike anything but campers might want to know that when we were there there were a lot of young families so it's not the quietest of sites. We camped in the bottom paddock which was a bit of a hollow for attracting dew so we were slow drying the tent for striking. If you're in a hurry, you might be better on one of the higher areas. It's a few miles down a narrow lane from Dottery.
Many thanks for your review. Most of our pitches are either flat or on a very gentle slope. You visited on the first weekend of the school summer holidays, and yes the children were fizzing. It’s usually much quieter during the week or outside school holiday times. It’s a good point that dewy mornings can make the tent quite damp for packing down. We do hope you will visit again.
