Staff were very friendly and welcoming, used as a base to be close to some friends so didnt spend a great deal of the time on the site but were very comfortable during the time we were there and would use again.
Non mi è piaciuto: Only critisism (if you can call it that) was that grass was quite long which considering the weather is understandable however the last time it was cut the cuttings hadnt been collected (probably due to wet conditions) so in the damp it stuck to everything and ended up getting everywhere but hey, youve gotta expect a bit of nature when your camping.

We have got urinals just for the gents, and two of the flushing loos are self contained with a wash hand basin. We offer unisex so dads with young daughters and mother’s with young sons can all go in together.
Excellent site set in wonderful countryside.

Many thanks for your review, we are really pleased you enjoyed walking in the Vale. Pilsdon Pen has great views and Lewesdon a lovely atmospheric beech wood atop the summit. Not sure why you wouldn’t recommend to friends. Do you want to keep us all to yourselves, or maybe just a slip of the finger?

Regarding the grass, we have seven acres here and although we do go out mowing vacated pitches as people leave, it just isn’t possible to keep it all as short and tidy as we would like! The weather this year has meant it’s just kept on growing like spring! Sorry about the mess!
