We have older children and travelled with friends who have similar aged children and two dogs. We were able to pitch together (three tents, two cars and an camper-van in total) and lots of choice. Brilliant little food kiosk on site doing breakfast and dinner for those days when you need it. Showers always hot, toilets clean, fire wood offered every night at a very reasonable price. Nice location and views. Lots to do locally. Very friendly site with a lovely chilled atmosphere.
Non mi è piaciuto: Not really anything site related. We have a T4 camper van and some of the lanes are challenging to and from the site but that is the nature of country camping! We used our friends cars instead to go out and about.
Only downside is that we had to drive to get anywhere. No obvious walks directly from the campsite however we could have easily spent a day chilling onsite if we had chosen to.
Many thanks for your visit and review, we are so pleased you enjoyed Jurassic Pork and found our facilities clean and the water hot. Some folks do walk directly from the campsite but we agree it’s sometimes nicer to drive a short distance to access better marked paths.
The road from here to Bridport has a few short lengths with passing places but mostly wide enough for two vehicles to pass. It can feel intimidating when a big tractor and trailer come the other way.
Friendly, beautiful site with good facilities and a laid back feel

We were greeted with a warm, friendly and welcoming reception and given clear and helpful instructions on where to pitch & the site.
Owners were caring but also not too overbearing & relaxed, which is just what you need when camping.Site itself is just perfect, so well kept and all the facilities are clean & work really well. No noise late into the night whatsoever and the kids loved the playground and being able to make friends!

Very child focussed with lots of toys out for them to play with, tyre swing, den and play area. They even gave the children some marshmallows and skewers on arrival. Lots of children all playing together was lovely to see. I didn’t see anyone master the unicycles but the space hoppers were a hit!
Toilets were clean with warm and cold tap
Takeaway van was great. Breakfast was yummy - best hash browns ever!
