Really quiet site with a small toilet/shower block. Really enjoyed the fact you could bring drinks from the pub to the site. It has a ace little Café around the corner (a theee minute walk) that does amazing breakfasts too

Small with good location, nice hot water and heated shower block.

Toilet block lock was tricky to operate and so I had to use the men's on occasion! Toilet paper was not always replaced when run out.
Dog mess on grass.

Facilities included toilets and hot shower. Perfect for what we needed.

Intimate and cosy site

Very peaceful as no noise from busy roads or town

Hosts were welcoming and friendly. In fact couldn’t do enough for us. We are at the pub and the food was really tasty and well cooked. And I’m hard to please. The site was quiet and nicely set back behind the pub. Yes there are trees but you can park slightly forward to avoid them as the pitches are long and wide. Toilets and shower were fine. We are camping and don’t expect five star. Had a shower and it was okay.

Nothing really we had a lovely stay. Possibly a quick clean of the bathrooms now and again. But not like some I’ve seen and wouldn’t go near. It’s fine.

Country position. Tidy pitches. Pub. Friendly staff.

Tight pitches. Noisy seasonal campers- talking, slamming doors, watching TV in the awning till 2.30am. Shower dirty. Toilet seat lose.

Wonderful helpful staff even though they were short staffed always friendly. Clean facilities

The area. What a beautiful place, so clean, lovely architecture with original details.

The site. I have never left a negative review before but this was dreadful.
I saw the owner for no more than 5 minutes, seemed a nice enough chap, but no welcome or pleasantries, dealt with the paperwork and then walked down the field to show is where to park. It was the only non electric pitch which is what we had requested. He did not tell us where the toilets or showers were, just have us a code.

The pitch was in the bottom corner that appeared to be used for dumping, there were
2 piles of dog poo from the previous camper!! It was a dirty mess.
There were plenty of empty spaces with electric hook up, which we could have used as without a card we couldn't use the electric anyway.
The worst though was the toilets. The ladies wasn't filthy, but certainly not clean, I wouldn't use The shower. The gents however was unuseable!! The only toilet had a cutlery knife under each side to keep it balanced and anything that went in leaked out into the shower unit!
Sorry it may be only £20 a night but not recommended.
