Friendly welcome and gorgeous food in the food.

Would recommend shower shoes or flip flops as the floor wasn't the cleanest in the shower, but they were really spacious and the water was hot so not bad!

So friendly and helpfull, hope it gets a buyer to carry on with the site.

Quiet site in a quiet village. Very clean facilities checked regularly.Nice restaurant with friendly staff.

No vegetables on the menu. It was mainly chips and peas.

Lovely quiet site, Danni the young lady who loved after us was amazing, she did everything she could to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Friendly bunch of campers, met some lovely people.

The toilets/shower room, it wasn't clean while we were there for 8 nights, it need a really good scrub.

We arrived on the Friday with our Berghaus 6xl. The pitch initially allocated as not big enough for us to pitch up. The only pitch available which could fit our tent was under a huge tree. We noticed after moving the tent there was a large dead branch hanging. We stopped on that pitch the friday night not much sleep to be had as worried about the branch. On Saturday the pitch opposite became available. After bringing the branch to there attention we were given the option to move. Alot of other people on site came to see what we were talking about and all offered help. We moved pitch and was so grateful everyone worked as a team and we took everything out and moved the tent. All in all took around 30 mins if that. We had a fantastic Saturday evening with food at the pub attached and all slept like babies. The facilities were clean and pleasant to use. But definitely geared up for caravans. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Need to be made clear on advert smaller tents only. Larger tent just fit on pitches no room to peg guide lines out correctly.

The site is nice.pub is nice. Lots of walks around the area. Lovely in Selby which is two mins away

Had no sleep all weekend as one of the neighbouring gardens were singing till 1.30 am on Friday. 3am on Saturday I appreciate it's not the sites fault but if it was one of us we would be asked to stop or leave. Totally ruined the weekend and will not be returning. You as campsite owners have to look at what you can do legally as all noise should stop at 11pm public or private.

Neighbouring permanent pitch owners parking their van across our grassed area. Their use of noisy machinery. Intimidating.

Good clean shower block nice tidy pitches good size food in the bar was a good price and plentiful we had the wild boar & apple burger it was delicious highly recommend nice friendly staff bar area dog friendly

Couldn't stay longer

Everything was amazing! The campsite was lovely and quiet. The other campers were polite. The staff were absolutely wonderful! So polite and helpful! The food at the castle Inn was also amazing, I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

We were contacted the day before we were going to say they had cancelled our overnight because a tree had fallen on our pitch😊😊, it left us with no time to get a decent campsite so we missed out
