Don your activity hat, for you'll be out and about all the day long at Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort RV Park in Nevada.
There's absolutely loads to do here: this big family-owned and operated resort is on the banks of the Colorado River, with access to daily riverboat cruises and to fishing, jetskiing and boating for river hours under your own steam. Even better, the RV park is part of a huge hotel complex which includes a casino, a six-screen cinema and two pools – one with a spa and one with a daytime poolside bar.
And even better than that? Free shuttles run regularly from the RV park to the hotel so RV guests can use the facilities as much as they like. The hotel also has restaurants overlooking the Colorado River and serving French, Italian and steakhouse cuisine.
Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort RV Park is half a mile from the town of Laughlin on Nevada's southermost tip, in a tourist spot famed for its riverside setting and its casinos. Amenities are first-rate, with four bathroom blocks and five bathroom and laundry blocks around the park. Dogs are welcome – and, as befits such a splendid and well-equipped resort, they even have their own dog park to run around in.

You can go boating, jetskiing and fishing on the Colorado River, or take an 80-minute river tour on the resort's own USS Riverside to learn about the history of the region and the Colorado River. Narrated cruises depart seven days a week, four times a day, with two extra evening cruises on Saturdays.
The resort of Laughlin has been a popular tourist destination for casinos, restaurants and outdoor activities for decades, in a coastal spot where Nevada, California and Arizona meet. There are nine hotel casinos here, as well as 60 restaurants and a full selection of boutiques, salons and spas; events are regularly arranged by the permanent community here too.
For an outdoorsy pursuit within easy reach of Don Laughlin, drive to the Newberry Mountains about 55 minutes away to access its hiking routes, including the Spirit Peak Trail up Spirit Peak, the Newberry Mountains' highest mountain.
