Accesso comodo a Calais. Molti lodano il proprietario cordiale, piazzole spaziose e buon bar/ristorante. Critiche per servizi datati, sporchi, rumore notturno e accesso alle piazzole. Ideale per soste brevi, ma il rumore disturba chi cerca tranquillità.

Mi è piaciuto Safe overnight campsite stop in a site that has it all, but when it was built was certainly last millennium .... just a little tired!
It had a bar, electronic darts, super hot multi function showers, WC disposal.... Boules courts... Oh, did I mention the residential caravans and the residents. Clearly, partly full time residential with some summer camping, but for 20€ to be parked just 10km from Calais, safely away from the many migrants on all the approach roundabouts was the sites main benefit.
For all the negatives, I would stay again because of the convenience and the hospitality of the owner.
Did I mention the extreme low lying ground, so flat, lakes and canals surrounding the site. I am sure if we had more time in the morning the lake would have proven to be a twitchers paradise.... we heard the geese all night!

Non mi è piaciuto Arrived after 4pm which was start of check in but no one was there. Rang the number given 8 times over 30 minutes before being answered, told gate code and pitch number . None of the pitches had numbers on them so have to guess where to go .
The pitches have narrow openings and it was very hard to get a 6 meter van in and out of the pitch. Shower very old and dated. Would not recommend

Non mi è piaciuto The website tells you that check in is from 4, it’s not, you can’t access the campsite until 5.30 and there is nowhere with a caravan that you can comfortably wait. The toilets were extremely basic. There is shooting late into the night, and early in the morning. The bar area is really noisy. Cockerels in the local area wake you up early. We had dogs barking late at night and people partying and arguing. Would not stay again

Non mi è piaciuto It was the loudest campsite I’ve ever been too. We were hoping for an early bed time due to an early ferry in the morning but the noice was so bed. There is a pub on site which was really loud, people arguing till early morning, dogs barking all night, chickens making noice all night, gun fires till very late and early morning.
Also on the website we could arrive after 4pm but when we got there a sign was on the window to say the gates would be open from 5.30pm. This is not great when you have a caravan.
