Mi è piaciuto Quiet, feels deep in the heart of the countryside yet within an hour's walk of Fairbourne and Barmouth. Footpaths close by leading to the waterfalls, the lakes and Cader Idris.

Non mi è piaciuto Campsite hasn't got many (if any) flat pitches.

Mi è piaciuto A super little site. Nice and peaceful with simple, clean facilities and a friendly welcome from the owner. Stayed here a few years ago, and was very happy to return for three nights recently.

Non mi è piaciuto Much of the site is on a slope which might cause some people an issue, although I was fine with it.

Mi è piaciuto The facilities which were very clean and well lit at night. The view from the campsite was great with the sun shining and the general location was perfect - easy enough to drive to nearby places or walk to Fairbourne and Barmouth, as well as some good walks local to the campsite (the waterfall walk was very pretty after the rain). Lovely host (Beth) who was very friendly and welcoming, providing local knowledge for our stay.

Mi è piaciuto The site was well maintained on a slope and the toilets very clean. It was ideally situated for a cycling holiday being directly on the mawddach trail. We cycled across the bridge at the mouth of the estuary into Barmouth. Spectacular scenery.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely wonderful, yes it's a basic set up, but the bonus is that the night sky on a clear night is magical.
The toilet block and washing up area are very clean.
The owner is very kind and welcoming.

Mi è piaciuto We were blessed by the silence and by the beauty of the nature that surrounded us and the warm welcome afforded us. We were also the happy recipients of perfect Welsh weather so never felt the need to move off the spot ! As the only happy campers during our four days it was just us and the birds during the day and the bats and the owls at night. Also blessed by no electricity or wifi to compliment a brief return to a simpler and more restful way of being.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing - all the practical facilities were clean and worked well. Plenty of hot water and a pound bought you a good 5min shower.

Mi è piaciuto Amazing scenery in every direction and a great shower. Very peaceful and quiet. The owner was very friendly and knows the area well.

Non mi è piaciuto The campsite being on a hill meaning there were not many flat spots to park my campercar on.

Non mi è piaciuto Nothing really,just please remember it is a camping surrounded by nature so things like small midges or not perfectly flat ground is something absolutely normal and I don’t really understand people who complain about it. If you like perfection in every aspect ..maybe better stay home next time :)

Mi è piaciuto Peaceful, amazing views, friendly and helpful owners. Feels remote and yet easy to walk, cycle or train it to Barmouth.
Discount for solo campers, always appreciated.

Non mi è piaciuto Slight disadvantage is that the site is big but quite a lot of it is sloping, so campers tend to pitch close together on the flat bits.
