Ty Uchaf Farm Glamping

Mi è piaciuto Everything!!! This was one of those trips where it hugely surpassed all our expectations- not because they weren’t high, but because it was so good. We feel like we have stumbled across a hidden piece of paradise. No amount of words will sum up the relaxed, happy feelings and memories from our trip. My 11 year old possibly said it best ‘this will have a special place in my heart’.

The pod was clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. Robin was very welcoming from hot chocolate, milkshake and marshmallows waiting for the kids, to recommending local places to visit to including the children in feeding the chickens, sheep and even the arrival of piglets. The time he spent talking to the kids about the animals each day was amazing and a highlight of the trip. The children have titled him ‘the nicest man in Wales’.

The pods are surrounded by beautiful, peaceful countryside and has little paths through its own mini forest which kept the children entertained, exploring for hours, whilst adults are relaxed in the knowledge that they are safe. The field kitchen means you can whip up meals or make a brew whilst taking in the spectacular views, and is an excellent addition to the facilities in the pod.

We will definitely be booking again!

Mi è piaciuto Great location, kids loved it.
They loved feeding the chickens and sheep every morning, collecting the eggs, and even eating them which is a first for my kids.
Robin, couldnt of been anymore welcoming when we arrived to when we left. My youngest was crying to go back the farm, when we got back home.
Oh, and the sunsets are amazing here.
I would definitely stay again.

Mi è piaciuto The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the best bit for the children were the chickens and lambs who they chatted to for the whole holiday. Robin showed the children how to feed and look after the animals and was a wonderful host overall. Our cabin was just right for the four of us to sleep (two adults and two small children), and there was plenty of bedding and pillows to keep us all comfy. The steps were tricky to navigate with a very active 1-yr old but for bigger children they weren’t a problem. We made a fire outside each night and cooked our dinner on the coals. Brilliant holiday for everyone.

Mi è piaciuto - Everything. Absolutely lovely place, location, and owner.
- Robin (site owner) gave ours and our neighbours kids a nice little private feeding session with the sheep and chickens which they all loved.
- Somehow even had phone signal in the middle of the Welsh country side. Shocker.

Mi è piaciuto Everything! Just the best experience. Pods were comfortable, clean and had all we needed. The site was beautiful with lots to do nearby and great pub within walking distance. Out of a holiday that included mountain climbing, the beach, and the zoo, our children's said their favorite part was 'Robin and the chickens'. Robin was fantastic and my eldest (8 years), who is neurodiverse, took to him faster than she has with anyone outside of the family. He was very patient with her, which meant she felt brave enough to chat away, ask questions and join in feeding the chickens - which was so wonderful to see. Thank you for the fab holiday!

Mi è piaciuto We had a wonderful couple of nights here. My first little break just myself and the girls and they had the best time. Robin is so kind and patient with the children, letting them get involved with feeding the animals and sharing his knowledge. The pod had everything we needed and more. The little touches when we arrived were really appreciated, especiallyby the children. We will definitely visit again when it gets cooler, so we can take full advantage of the log burner. Thank you for a great break!

Mi è piaciuto The views for miles. The peacefulness. the chickens were a massive hit with our children. They were so friendly. Last of all the host - Robin was absolutely fantastic with us. Couldn’t be more helpful . The kids loved him. He was great with the children feeding the lambs and hens and nothing was a problem. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend.

Mi è piaciuto Pretty much everything about the site, it’s private and secure enough to feel like your children are safe, it’s pretty, lovely views, the chickens, the faculties, although composting toilets are to get used to 😆 Robin is great for keeping you up to date with what is going on nearby the site, he checks in to make sure you’re happy with everything on message, extremely helpful. I even left some items behind and he posted them back to me. We will be back and have recommended the site to friends too. Excellent

Non mi è piaciuto Not really a dislike, but the composting toilets do take a little getting used to. That said, they’re really well designed, thoughtfully maintained, and fit perfectly with the eco-friendly feel of the campsite.
