Mi è piaciuto: Clean facilities (toilet and bath), nice station for clean water.
Easy emptying the black water.
Thank you to the sweet woman who helped us with the electricity (she was cleaning the facilities)

Non mi è piaciuto: You had to empty the gray water wirt a bucket or a hose, which we didnt have (rentet RV). We had to dump our graywater at a nearby gas station.
No one was in the office to ask questions. No one answered the phonenumbers listet on the door(s).

Mi è piaciuto: Very clean , level hard standing site.

Non mi è piaciuto: Anyone can turn up and use the toilets and showers.

Mi è piaciuto: Hard standing pitch for only a few vehicles, pitches were well spaced out. Amenities are simple and clean with a small kitchen area and showers and toilets, all in good working order and good quality.
Situated near to good costal walks, beaches and Butt of Lewis lighthouse.
Staff were helpful and friendly.

Mi è piaciuto: Toller Womo Stellplatz zum Erkunden der Insel. Liegt etwas abseits der Straße hinter einer kleinen Firma. Der Platz verfügt über 4 Parzellen mit Strom. Er ist sehr gepflegt, liegt ruhig und zentral, die sanitären Anlagen sind tiptop. Wir hatten 4 Nächte gebucht und konnten somit von dort aus unsere Besichtigungen bzw. Wanderungen anfahren und abends wieder an den Platz zurück fahren. Da die Insel nicht so groß ist, ist das gut zu machen. Zum richtig ‘Campen’ ist der Platz eher ungeeignet.

Non mi è piaciuto: Bei Vollbelegung des Platzes verfügt der Platz nur über 1 Dusche. Was einfach zu wenig ist. Leider kommt das Wasser nur sehr sparsam und mäßig warm. Haare waschen ist da sehr schwierig.

Mi è piaciuto: Everything. Clean, easy to get to and use facilities. Very peaceful.

Non mi è piaciuto: Nothing the site was amazing.

To pre-warn future travellers though, isle of Lewis is a bit windy so cooking out doors might be a problem.

There was also no WiFi but isle of Lewis had the best internet connection so no loss for me

Mi è piaciuto: Clean and well kept facilities. Good location. Only 4 plots so quiet.

Non mi è piaciuto: Bleak and open but that is Lewis do you.

Mi è piaciuto: Clean and new generous pitch size. All 5 pitches close to service block.

Non mi è piaciuto: What limited facilities there are, they are first class, new and very clean.
However the down side for us was that these facilities are open to the public.
This is not an enclosed site. No warden 24/7.
If you are an older couple like us there was no sense of security or of help after hours should you need it.
With only one shower, when a car drove up and 3 people showered one at a time, the wait time for the shower was nearly 90 minutes.
Last point, on arrival we called the out of hours number with a query and gave our details but no call back received.

Mi è piaciuto: Toilet and showering facilities were clean and modern. Best we have been to.
No hassles in booking and setting up
15 mins from the lovely Eoropie beach and 30-40 minutes from Stornoway.

Non mi è piaciuto: Not much not to like. More showers would be good although you can use the facilities in the adjacent business centre too.

Mi è piaciuto: Nice quiet location, and advertised with showers and toilet facility.

Non mi è piaciuto: There is only 1 shower in the disabled toilet, and a sticker on the shower saying don't use on high setting. The shower has low water flow, and low temperature.
Unuseable, and if we had known we would not have booked.

The annoying point is we dropped the site an email to advise, and they said it was the first they knew and it must be low water presure. It was not low water pressure as we pointed out as the taps work fine.
What was dissapointing is that looking at the reviews, they did know about the issue as a reviewer advised them 2 months earlier, and that it was not water pressure also!
Make your own mind up if you want to stay and pay £30 for no shower!

Mi è piaciuto: Great bathroom facilities and EHU on a basic site. Great spot for sunset and travel onwards to the lighthouse and north Lewis. Washing line is round the far side of the toilet block to dry towels.

Non mi è piaciuto: Pitches are allocated but no email or text and no one on site to see when arriving. No bother really, apart from a slightly perplexed Dutch man and his family who had a MH pitch allocated… we didn’t have any instructions about it so had parked up in his spot. All fine between us but very different information emailed out post booking through the different websites we had both booked through.
