Mi è piaciuto Lovely big area to set up in on a quiet country road. Very handy little shower/kitchenette block with two toilets, two showers, two fridges, a freezer, sink, microwave, and a washing machine. Used the spare plug sockets in there to charge phones. Love that they had recycling bins for all sorts of waste. Friend tried out the showers and said it was good. Great place to set up camp, handy distance from Cotswold's water park and Swindon.
Didn't get to see the hosts, communicated by text for check-in and check-out, but seemed friendly and helpful over messages.
The sky at night was gorgeous, you can see all the stars.
There is no wifi but our phones had a very surprising but welcome full 4G signal so not really needed.

Non mi è piaciuto Exceptionally rustic facilities. Shower door was a chipboard sheet with hinges. No staff contact. Just an open field and help yourself.

You are correct, we do not have set pitches as the camping field is large and we like people to pick where suits them. That said we are always happy to discuss and make a suggestion if asked.
I was in the house/reception all day on your arrival day but you did not come to the house or contact me to check in. I also went to the campsite also to see whether you had arrived but did not see you then either, I am sorry to have missed you.
The shower door is indeed part particle board and is visible in the listing photographs, the shower behind is warm and powerful and liked by many. I rather like the design, but I appreciate that tastes vary.

Mi è piaciuto Friendly hosts and the accommodation was clean. The site was peaceful and quiet. Nice views across farmland.

Non mi è piaciuto The general grounds were very run down. I understand it’s a working farm but there was junk everywhere and everything was over grown and generally tatty. Facilities were both male and female so no real privacy and the showers were a bit grotty.

Mi è piaciuto We loved our stay at Rouselands Farm! The field was beautiful, great view of the sunset and sunrise. Plenty of room so even being the summer holidays there was still loads of space away from each other. Easy to check in. Toilets and showers perfectly adequate, I imagine could possibly do with some extras if it was very busy but was not a problem for us. Unfortunately due to the weather and government announcement regarding fires we couldn't use a fire pit but that's completely understandable and no fault of anyone! We will definitely be back.
