Secret Spot Camping

Mi è piaciuto A lovely and super friendly campsite. All facilities kept clean at all times. I loved the Campers Hut and all the little extras provided by the owner: bottle opener, brush and pan, books about the area, free fridges and phone chargers and many more.
The site is very quiet, surrounded by countryside, yet only a short walk into town and/or a short drive to the beach and many of North Devon attractions.
As a female solo traveller I felt very safe.

Mi è piaciuto What a lovely, quiet, clean and well kept campsite. The owners are really lovely, friendly and accommodating.
The showers and facilities are spotless and there is a lovely area where you can sit and relax. There are communicable fridges and kettles and the grass area for camping is very flat.
All 3 camping fields are lovely.
It’s only a very short drive to Braunton or to Braunton Burrows sand dune system.
The owners are very knowledgeable of the surrounding area too. I couldn’t fault this campsite at all. We had such a lovely stay.

Mi è piaciuto Absolutely love this campsite! They’ve thought of everything, making it a real little Devon gem. The site is beautifully maintained, welcoming, and has everything you could want for a relaxing stay.

Non mi è piaciuto The only slight downside for us is that we’d ideally love to stay in the top fields, as they feel a little nicer and have a better view. Unfortunately, as we have a dog, we’re not allowed to stay there.

Mi è piaciuto This was our first camping holiday since we got married and we have found a real gem. Our criteria for camping this summer wasn’t much but flat ground, good toilets, dog friendly and close to the beach. Secret Spot Camping delivered on all accounts… and more! Not only are the toilets and showers great (cleaned daily WITH loo roll and hand soap provided - big win!) but the pitches are super spacious and they even go above with the offering of a lush communal ‘campers shelter’ for everyone to use with fridges, freezes, washing up facilities, kettles and sofas for when you just want to step away from the tent and sit with a cuppa in a normal chair 😊 the site is only 15 mins drive from Braunton Sands Beach and 5 mins from the town centre so nothing is out of reach. The owners were very helpful and chatty and the beautiful gardens were a lovely addition to walk through every morning. We will definitely look at returning to Secret Spot in the future 🩷

Mi è piaciuto Great location for the coast. Lovely, open fields so lots of space. Amazing extras such as use of an indoor kitchen, lounge, seating areas and fire pit.
Very friendly and helpful owners.

Mi è piaciuto Just back from 3 nights at this lovely venue, first class time was had by all. Lovely spot, nice flat pitches and good facilities, always clean and even in high season we never had to queue for the showers or toilets. The Campers Hut and all its facilities (kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer etc) is a lovely touch and surrounded by beautiful gardens for all to enjoy. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming and highly knowledgable about the local area. Love this place, will be back for more of the same.
