Adventure Camping

Mi è piaciuto Great location with good facilities - provides excellent access to north Devon coast. Staff extremely helpful and accommodating (we needed to extend briefly on our final morning and they were happy to assist).

Non mi è piaciuto Gravel pot-holed track down to the touring pitches and camp site - really not suitable for touring caravans. Should be flagged to potential users - as we got stuck trying to get off the site with our caravan & needed some assistance.

Appeared to be a number of activities “available” on site for younger families - but not offered to us. Perhaps better during school holidays as seemed to be focused on school and other groups when we were there.

Mi è piaciuto Well maintained site. Friendly helpful staff.clean facilities. stayed on the electric pitch just because they are a bigger size. I'm glad we did I found it was much quieter than the field as there are only 8 electric pitches,that we had all to ourselves. I plan on staying again

Gravel track potholes need filling in

Mi è piaciuto Good size pitch, plenty of space for the motor home and areas around it to relax outside. Toilets and showers were clean with really hot water. Having activities to book on site was also a big positive for the kids.

Non mi è piaciuto You definitely need a torch as there is no illumination to get to the toilet/shower block in the dark. The kids liked the activities we booked on site but they had a very large group so there was quite a bit of waiting around, especially for the archery with 28 people in the group.

Mi è piaciuto The site was lovely and clean. Quiet and peaceful. Very close to local amenities. Very convenient for the big sheep. We enjoyed our stay here.

Mi è piaciuto How quiet the site was, the beautiful views, the staff were really friendly, it’s so close to everything also. Showers and toilets were clean too

Mi è piaciuto Good and quiet place to rest with nature. Excellent place to spend time with family. Adventure activity for children. Nearest fantastic sheep farm with fun fair.

Plenty of space to wander without coming across a major road.

Very clean site, it still looks quite new.

The toilet blocks, with washing and dish washing facilities, seemed well looked after. I also seen staff everyday, cleaning and emptying bins.

The access to outdoor activities, such as high ropes, water assault course, and many more, also at quite a reasonable cost, if you find the right discount codes.

Non mi è piaciuto The pitches were flat enough, but very close to each other, could of been 1 or 2m wider.

Showers needed temperature control, as I found them boiling, and maybe a bench to get dressed on.

We went to the shop, and it was closed. We went well within the opening hours, quite disappointed as we told the girls they could have ice creams. Luckily we didn't need essentials.

Needs a few more signs directing you were to go when you come in. Nothing mentioned at the entrance about the campsite location.

Mi è piaciuto Site was clean and tidy. Plenty of showers and toilets for the number of people on site.
Good location for beaches and activities.

Non mi è piaciuto Pitch wasn’t suitable for caravans.
Staff gave us various pitches as they had no clue that tent pitches weren’t suitable to pitch a caravan.
No handles on the shower or toilet doors so children couldn’t get out the toilets by themselves. Chemical toilet had no hose or water supply. It was next to drinking water tap. Really unhygienic to put your chemical toilet into the drinking water tap!!!

Slope/hill access to site had so many pot holes it was tricky to get a caravan up and down.

We asked about activities on site. Poor customer service she could have sold us activities there and then. Definitely a missed opportunity.
