Newquay Holiday Park

Mi è piaciuto The the holiday park was lovely, lots to see and do the swimming pool area was very nice. The reception staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
First impressions of the Safari tent looked very nice.

Non mi è piaciuto Although the tent itself was nice and comfortable, it was a little dated and could probably do with some updating. Unfortunately, there was also a very strong smell of mould and damp when we first arrived. After sitting inside for a while, we did get used to the smell, but it was quite noticeable and did affect our first impression of the accommodation.

Mi è piaciuto The safari tent we stayed in was lovely accommodation. Great range of food outlets on site open until late. Great location if wanting to going into Newquay and surrounding areas.

Non mi è piaciuto Check in and check out times hugely different to what was advertised and stated when we booked. Our accommodation was still not really well after our given check in time. We paid for the use of a cot but had to remind reception for our to be delivered and when it was we received a broken one so had to wait to have it replaced. When the replacement came there was nowhere that it fit in the accommodation as the bedrooms were very small. The safari tent accommodation literally came even without the basics of self catering (not even a dishcloth to wash the pots). The entertainment was hit and miss for a child centred site, there is a two hour section every night for bingo which spoils the evening for kids! We were told that timings for the pool would be put on the gate in the morning but this was never the case. The food outlets (particularly the pizza one), didn’t have a clue how to meet everyone’s orders. When ordering a pizza we waited 25 mins before asking if the order was nearly ready and they had forgotten to put the pizza in the oven. Overall not a great experience and I doubt we would book again. WiFi was terrible; didn’t work anywhere on site and couldn’t upgrade to the faster service as advertised

Mi è piaciuto The tent was very clean, I was surprised to see that there were no spiders at all which was great!

Non mi è piaciuto A bit cold - the electric fire would overheat and turn off. Would have preferred two space heaters. Couldn’t access WiFi in the glamping tents

Mi è piaciuto Accommodation ( glamping lodge) was clean on arrival and exceeded expectations for our stay.
The camp site was clean and offered a lot of activities for kids to participate in.
Entertainment staff were brilliant at both entertaining the kids and keeping the adults engaged with the evening activities.

Non mi è piaciuto No indoor pool .. some of the leaflets we were given had pictures of an indoor pool which was a bit misleading.
On a colder day during our stay we went off site to and booked an indoor pool for the afternoon.

Mi è piaciuto Simply outstanding. So welcoming, polite and friendly. Easy to book, arrived at reception and our Glamping tent was a few yards away. Car can be partied next to it and the area is secure with barrier and code. Everything you need in the tent which was cosy, clean and just perfect. The site is perfectly located to explore the beautiful sites of Newquay and Cornwall. On site facilities are great too if you decide to stay put for the day.
