Mi è piaciuto It was great the 12 x 12 pitch was brilliant so much room. The toilets were clean, the freezer and fridge space was excellent especially for our cool box ice. The play park was a big thumbs up for our children. The people were friendly overall a big thumbs up.

Non mi è piaciuto If being picky, late at night when quiet you can hear the main road and traffic.
Couldn’t use WiFi as was far end of field and wasn’t strong enough to connect

Such a fairly small site which…

Mi è piaciuto Such a fairly small site which was lovely, it felt very personal and I felt safe letting the kiddies explore. They have a playground which was used a lot. The owner is cleaning daily which is great to see. Facilities are great, 2 showers 50p for 5 mins, great size shower and change area. Washing up areas are clean with kettles to provide hot water. Visitors are allowed and a small fee charged, must be off by 8pm.
You can hear the A21 which is very close but I didn't find this an issue, we all found it easy to sleep. The site is on a slope so when pitching remember this for sleeping arrangements. Things did tent to slide slowly on tables too, nothing that would slop me going again. Great walks to Bewl water.

Non mi è piaciuto The motorway nearby makes a lot of noise especially when motorcyclists start making noise. For us cyclists, the surroundings were great, but the road we had to cross all the time because the campsite is next to it was a headache

Mi è piaciuto Quiet campsite. Clean well managed facilities. Excellent location. We have a fantastic three night stay. The owner was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning.

Mi è piaciuto Very clean and convenient site, with a play park, and surrounded by trees to give a quieter and calmer atmosphere. Everything was clean and facilities were extremely useful

Excellent little site, we really enjoyed our stay.

Mi è piaciuto Lovely little campsite. Clean and very well managed. Site manager did regular rounds and was very helpful. Selling freshly made pizza on site in the evenings was a lovely added bonus! Was able to accommodate our large family group very promptly and easily. Booking was a breeze! We slept very comfortably and site was very peaceful throughout the night.
Non mi è piaciuto Only points I would say are that the campsite is on a bit of a hill/slant this wasn't a major issue but was definitely noticeable in the tent. Nothing they can really do about this, just worth being aware of it for tent/caravan placement when you set it up. Also they close the play area at 8pm. We personally felt that it would have been better to shut it at 9pm in the summer months, as it's still very light outside and all the kids tend to have a later bedtime when camping.
