Hanging out in a peaceful forest setting is a wonderful way to have a relaxing break – and even better when you get to stay in a gorgeous little glamping unit at New Forest Glamping.
There's just the one shepherd's hut at this Hampshire site, in the western part of the New Forest National Park between Bransgore and Burley (and around a five-minute drive from both). That means you're pretty much guaranteed to have peace and quiet throughout your stay – all the better for a chilled-out evening sitting out enjoying the views (over the neighbouring paddock to the woods), sipping a glass of something and perhaps tending the barbecue.
Being inside your accommodation is just as lovely – this cosy little hut has been kitted out with a double bed (plus bed linen), an ensuite bathroom (plus towels), a woodburning stove (plus firewood) and a TV, as well as a kitchen with a cooker, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and coffee maker. Dogs are welcome to join you for a stay here (although please note an extra charge applies).
You could probably cosy up here happily for your entire break, but given your fabulous surroundings it's well worth tearing yourselves away for an outing or few. There are heaps of options around, whether you fancy walking, cycling, paddleboarding, beach time or visits to attractions like the excellent National Motor Museum at Beaulieu.

Lovely place to stay.

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful place, lovely comfy bed.
Equipment all great, except the sun umbrella outside.
But the owner sorted that quickly.
Non mi è piaciuto No where to dispose of the rubbish or dog poo.
I had to leave the sacks outside.
Was worried about wild animals ripping them open.

The New Forest National Park is well known walking and cycling territory – a few top spots nearby include the Wilverley Inclosure (10 minutes' drive), Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary (20 minutes) and trails around Brockenhurst (20 minutes). The last of these is also a handy place to hire bikes.
For different outdoor days, go fishing at Orchard Lakes (10 minutes), play a round at Burley Golf Club (10 minutes) or join hacks from Bagnum Equestrian Centre (15 minutes). Lymington (25 minutes) has watersports and a seawater swimming pool, or you could sign up to bound across the inflatable assault course at New Forest Water Park (25 minutes). Beach swims more your thing? Try Avon Beach (15 minutes) or the popular sands of Bournemouth (25 minutes).
Less active outing options nearby include the Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum (10 minutes), the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu (half an hour) and Exbury Gardens & Steam Railway (40 minutes).
