Non mi è piaciuto I would defo avoid this place, you may as well have camped on the a1 at this rate, speeding cars, lorrys and motorbikes right behind the tent. Really unsafe incase an accident happens. Mens toilets were very bad ans i heard the womens was worse with cracks in the floor, youd think the owners would sort it out as its a hazard. I feel sorry for the people living on there. Then the owner in his fancy car and little quad bike checking on us 24/7, dont get me wrong they were very kind and welcoming but jesus christ leave us alone! No parks or food places within a 5 mile radius, first time here never again. The reception is in a bloody caravan like come on! At least build a proper building if it aint making money cut ya loses and leave, if the owners cant pay to upgrade their facilites then just sell the place. Sorry but avoid everyone!

Mi è piaciuto There really wasn't nothing to like other then the people who live there were friendly but I actually feel for them as the place is scruffy

Non mi è piaciuto Where do I start I think the owners need to give up they can't manage this site , the pot area to clean no hot water to clean your dishes and sinks full of bird shit , first day toilets and shower block deplorable never seen the cleaning stuff used showers floors and sinks scruffy toilets blocked with shit to the top no toilet roll crack in shower tray which looked unsafe to use then the shower tray totally broke owner never even knew ,everyone had to que to use one shower to find out it was cold water , told the owner told to us to use the gents I'm not taking my small children in gents toilets which I heard wasn't much better while on site owner come round in different vehicles people watching just felt like we were getting watched all the time we spoke to other campers who up and left due to the horrendous conditions of the place and people feeling like they couldn't breathe due to owner constantly driving up and down. Nothing for kids to do no play park as it shows no pub now as closed down , this is def do a one to avoid

Non mi è piaciuto May aswel parked on the main road as it is about 5 steps from the tent, lorries and speeding cars kept us awake most of the night, the toilets were caked in shit also

Non mi è piaciuto Where to begin...what a dump....the pics on pitch up are not current..they are old and out of date ...the pub " the salutation inn" has apparently been closed for years...all boarded up and was raided a few weeks ago for growing cannabis in there...the site is a dirty field...there are approx 22 statics at the start of the "park" ..some are lovely,well kept with nice people ...the rest look like a shanty town...the "reception "is a dirty caravan with stop sighs outside...the touring pitches were at the bottom of the field approx 150_200 yds from toilets ...which were disgusting...( We used our own facilities) There is no access for disabled customers either to the toilets or showers...( Even though it says there are)there is no separate gray waste, the chemical toilet waste and the gray waste are the same and is an uncovered manhole behind the toilets..only 1 water tap that we were told but it had so many hose extensions on it you had to play water jenga to get the one that filled your bottle .you are right next to a main road which is constant however this does quieten down on a night
Although dog friendly there are no dedicated dog walking facilities on site...we did meet some lovely people in some of the statics...the only good thing about it bar location...there is a sign saying under new management...however that has been there quite a while ...and the owners " don't give a s++t"
we were told...we use pitch up all year round but I think as a company you need to investigate this place ...it's shambolic ...

Non mi è piaciuto Very loud difficult to sleep due to main road 10 feet from the back of the pitch.
Very poor facilities, very run down, showers dirty and not cleaned dutlring whope stay, 1 of 2 toilets blocked in the women's the whole time we were there.
Toilet block opposite end of site from the campsite, walking through 20 plus static caravans to get to them.
Noise from heavy trailers 4x4 and vans as workers living on site.

Mi è piaciuto The pitch itself. Tidy, clean and away from the numerous dodgy looking static holiday caravans and the smell of weed emanating from the first caravan.

Non mi è piaciuto The reception caravan. I’m really sorry but it’s not a pleasant welcome to the site to be invited into the ‘reception’ which is someone’s caravan which subsequently smells really bad…it was awful, to sign in. This could easily have been done out side.
Now I took the negative reviews (numerous) about the toilets with a pinch of salt hoping to be proven wrong, but I wasn’t. Men’s toilets-two urinals. Both smelt bad and not clean. The flushing toilet. Flushed and had some cleaning product hanging off the rim that worked when flushed, but there was what I can only describe as baked on excrement around the rim. No toilet roll. No paper towels or hand drying facility.
Two showers. One went from scolding hot to cold but would not regulate. The other worked thank goodness but height was too short (I’m not that tall).
Overall, the toilet and shower block was disgusting and dirty. I’ve been to many weekend music festivals and the toilets and showers there were cleaner. Basics….if people are camping you at least hope to have half decent clean and hygienic facilities.

Mi è piaciuto Location is convenient for several places. The campsite side is quite well maintained. Friendly owners.
Oh it's a bit weird place. It's like a cliche council estate you see on the English comedy. There are people clearly living on this site permanently. All very friendly but the vibe is weird. Hard to explain. It's not a bad thing I suppose. It's an ok value for money.

Non mi è piaciuto Toilet facilities needs help. There wasn't any toilet paper and the two nights we stayed there I don't think they were cleaned once. There are two ladies cubical and one men's. I don't think it's enough for the site. Those toilets should be cleaned at least twice a day.

What I also didn't realise is that it's right next to main road and it's very noisy. People should know this before booking.

Mi è piaciuto The owners were helpful, chatty and Callum came past a few times doing jobs asking if everything was OK.

The area is beautiful and close to everything we needed.

We stayed for 2 nights but would have stayed longer as the pitch was a good size, plenty of room between them and so many more things to explore.

There were a couple of families over the other side who my daughter enjoyed getting to know. She found things to entertain herself.

There was a bit of traffic from the road but nothing that really bothered us.

Lovely hot water in the shower. We just took our own toilet roll and handwash when we went. I have seen worse toilet facilities, yes they could do with updating, but everything worked as it should. Water point was easily accessed too.

The residents who were there even helped me jump start my car when My battery decided it didn't want to work haha...

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful area and views - other campsite nearby that are lovely.

Non mi è piaciuto I’ve stayed at many campsites, I’m not looking for luxurious facilities, however this one I drove in and drove right back out of.
Toilet and shower block are filthy and static caravans look very run down.
No soap in the toilets (which weren’t cleaned recently as toilet smelt strongly of urine) and I went to pick up a bottle of what I thought was hand soap which was in fact a yellowing bottle of feminine hygiene wash 🤢
The reception caravan was also very poorly kept and dirty. We simply drove off and there are campsites for similar prices nearby that are lovely.
It’s a real shame because the area and views are beautiful.

Non mi è piaciuto The facilities weren't sufficient: toilets and showers were dirty and the washing-up sink doesn't have water so other campers did their dishes in the sinks of the toilets.

A lot of noice in the evening en morning from traffic.
