Un sito ben curato e pulito, apprezzato per l'atmosfera familiare, ottimi blocchi doccia e posizione comoda vicino a Scarborough. Tra i servizi popolari: parco per cani, area giochi, bar e bistrot. Alloggi confortevoli e ben attrezzati, spesso con vasca idromassaggio. Per alcuni il costo è alto.

Lack of poo bins being emptied - we were there a week and they got emptied on the last day
Storage vans being pulled on and off what felt like all day
Did not see any staff the whole stay (apart from man driving tractor pulling vans in/out)
VERY expensive electric charge!

Non mi è piaciuto Unfortunately the shower cubicles weren’t clean , the walls had shampoo on them for the whole weekend , the black holders for your shampoo etc very dirty and I had to clean taps both days before using

Non mi è piaciuto Toilet blocks not clean, lots of cobwebs, with old dead flies.
On site Bistro advertised food they hadn’t got & closed early when advertised opening times, unable to get food.
Was told the advertised swimming pool was for cottages, not tourers.

Mi è piaciuto Cleanliness especially the showers. The size of the pitches.
Non mi è piaciuto Paying for additional electricity we were out all day every day and still had to pay extra. pool cold and not very clean but £10 per use. Also no one ever at reception we had some issues connecting the electricity which we sorted ourselves but no one there on hand for assistance.

Mi è piaciuto A lovely site, very clean, friendly staff. Swimming pool was excellent and hot tub was lovely. Nice & quiet spot for lodges, private enough and everything was provided which was listed before arrival.
Non mi è piaciuto After 1 shower, the bathroom was like a pool for the rest of the stay. You couldn’t go to the loo, brush your teeth, or use the mirror without plodging through water. This meant traipsing water back and forward through the lodge the entire time. Add in the huge amount of flies, plus it was incredibly hot/stuffy and it was a damp and uncomfortable stay.
Sleeping with your head next to a noisy fridge is not ideal.
The onsite pub was lovely but we went for dinner on Sunday & they had live music on. It was SO loud we had to eat outside in the cold 😂
Kids also complained the park had seen better days
We’d probably book the cottage’s if we came again, they looked stunning.

Great luxury option for a relaxing getaway
Chalet Buttercup (idromassaggio)
Mi è piaciuto Friendly staff, really easy and smooth check in, quiet and peaceful round the lake and the lodge had everything you needed. Kids really enjoyed the wildlife nearby (ducks and rabbits). We ate in the on site restaurant which was scrumptious.

Mi è piaciuto We’ve just got back from 4 nights here. The site itself is lovely and clean. Very peaceful at night with a lovely view of the fields. The toilets and showers are the cleanest we’ve ever used. There was not one bit of dirt in them. The site is close to bus stops which take you to Scarborough and Bridlington. It’s also a short drive to the beach. There’s a bistro on site and an indoor swimming pool but unfortunately we didn’t get chance to use them….hopefully use them next time we come as we will definitely be booking again! Well done to the owners for keeping this site beautiful and clean, we will definitely be recommending you to others.
