Mi è piaciuto: Lots of grassed areas near pitches. Staff very friendly and pub food excellent.

Non mi è piaciuto: Not many facilities - 1 men’s 1 women’s and disabled shower/ toilet. If the site was full it would be a problem.

Regarding your "Dislikes", feedback is how we improve our offering so it is always welcomed.

The points you highlighted:

> Our shower block has 3 unisex, toilet & shower rooms. I can see the signage might be misleading to some, so I have ordered new, clearer signage. Shropshire Council require a minimum of 1 shower to every 30 pitches, so our 3 showers is way above what is expected for our small site. Also the best part is our powerful, hot showers are FREE (o:

> Our pub toilets are open 24/7 as well but, maybe this wasn't explained to you at the time. We will make sure this doesn't happen again

I'm so happy we ticked all the boxes for you in making it a "Super stay"

As all our food is home cooked and not bought in, we have to make sure its quality/ freshness is second to none. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are our quietest days, so we do close the kitchen. However, 7 days a week, we do have cobs, award winning pork pies, Scotch eggs etc available.

As the season picks up, we will extend the kitchen opening times Hope to see you again very soon

Mi è piaciuto: The site was very sheltered and the pitches were large and well maintained. Having the pub onsite was a real bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was fabulous. Will definitely be back.

Mi è piaciuto: Nice small quiet site with a beer a few steps away. Owner was very friendly and food was good in the pub.

Non mi è piaciuto: Pitch was right next to the toilet block. dangerous pulling out of the site as you cannot see any traffic at all because of the hedges. One of us had to get out of the car to check oncoming traffic.

Mi è piaciuto: Small site, to the side of Half way public house. Gravel and grass pitch, with its own water tap. Clean toilet/ shower block. One shower and toilet in both the ladies and men’s. One accessible shower room with toilet,for anyone. Plenty of hot water. Pot wash area to rear of building.
Great location for visiting surrounding area. Friendly owner, and staff.
Great pub, good food.

Non mi è piaciuto: Entrance to site had no signage, Do not go into car park, but take the immediate next left.
Take levelling blocks, we needed them.
Over flowing waste bin in car park, rubbish piled up next to it.

Im glad that overall, you had a pleasant stay and ticked the box to say you would return again.

I would like to shed some light on your dislikes:

1. Entrance to site had no signage: that is true and I do apologise. We had all the fences painted recently and the new signs we ordered have still not turned up

2. Take levelling blocks: out of 29 pitches I would say 1 or 2 might need levelling blocks. In future, we will make sure campers are made aware if going on these pitches.

3. Over flowing waste bin in car park: I'll be honest, Veolia who manage our wheelie bins were supposed to send us a second bin for Easter and they never did. Ive put in an official complaint in to them and passed on your comment swell.

Just a small thing to clarify, our shower block has 3 unsex toilet/ shower rooms, neither of them are gender specific.
