Questo sito tranquillo e "off-grid" nei Cotswolds offre un'esperienza a contatto con la natura. Apprezzati i panorami, l'atmosfera quieta e i servizi puliti e curati (docce calde incluse). Ben posizionato per esplorare, anche se la strada di accesso è stretta e il costo considerato un po' alto per lo stile "wild camping". La direzione sta lavorando su prezzi e gestione dei rifiuti.

Mi è piaciuto Excellent location with plenty of local walks and pubs, peace and quiet. Facilities were spot on, really nice and well organised site with great showers. Loads of wildlife as well as friendly happy cows to watch. Very pleasant host and diligent cleaning staff.
Despite the bank holiday being more rain than sun with some heavy downpours and windy conditions, the overall experience more than made up for it. Thank you for having us!

Mi è piaciuto Lovely rural location, it was quiet upon arrival. The toilets and the showers were basic, think i fell unlucky in the morning with getting cold water!
Location was easy to find and I highly recommend the The Village Pub. The steak was out of this world!

Mi è piaciuto Was dubious when I and my twins arrived but grew to love this site.
It would have been full marks if they had a small freezer you can freeze your ice packs as had to go out to get a bag of ice from the supermarket each day, but apart from that we loved it (good views l, nice and quite and excellent showers).

Non mi è piaciuto I booked last second and so didn't get any kind of welcome information to know what to expect when I got there. I asked others at the campsite what I was meant to do.

Lovely stay. Kids loved it. Well maintained and looked after site.
Tenda campana
Mi è piaciuto Great space, friendly advice before arriving, facilities were great and kept clean. We had a pitch and a bell tent and what was provided covered everything expected. Showers were had good pressure and temperature and the compost looks worked great, emptied regularly. No phone signal which allowed to completely disconnect, but walking to the top of the hill meant phones can be checked when needed. Bibury near by for trout farm. Cirencester near by for shops, attractions, Organic farm shop, corinium museum and open air pool.

Mi è piaciuto M4 was closed near Swindon and we were heading for wales so had to find a campsite before dark. Found this site near Cirencester. Beautiful field in the countryside with heifers and calves in the adjacent fields. Not a big site and plenty of room between vans/ tents. Loved that everything was off grid but that may not suit every camper.

Bell tent was very roomy, clean , literally everything you might need in there and the comfiest bed we have ever slept in with lovely quality bed linen and towels provided

Mi è piaciuto Beautiful setting. Very relaxed. Friendly host who visits at least once per day. Very clean site with everything you could need. Great (hot) showers. Brilliant washing up area. Compost toilets. Plenty of bins available for recycling that are emptied as needed. My son also stayed in the yurt for one night and it was very impressive. White cotton sheets and thick mattresses on sprung beds with all equipment provided. We were camping in a tent and there was lots of space for our large tent. You need to go to the top of the hill (which is a gorgeous place to sit and watch the sunset or sunrise) or out in the car to get reception but being off grid was exactly what myself and my teenagers needed. We were local so it was a 30min drive home but despite only being away 3 days and 3 nights it felt like a weeks break away. Definitely visit if you need to unplug and unwind.
Cirencester open air pool is worth a visit. They have general (walk in) swim times and is in a gorgeous setting and very good value. Cirencester itself is a lovely market town with lots of quirky shops mixed in with high street shops and plenty of places to eat.
