Nem kedvelték Been twice in 2 weeks . The first time there was a mass brawl at midnight and the police were called. The second time there was a couple having an argument until 2 am. Not the actual sites fault , however it does seem to attract the wrong sorts of people and as someone with 3 young children this was a problem.

Kedvelték Had a nice flat pitch. Excellent club house. Really helpful staff. Can take car to pitch to unpack but can't stay parked there - if you have kids it makes it a lot safer and there was a lot of space for them to play safely. Pitches were fairly well spaced and it wasn't that busy so had lots of space. I was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews but those issues can happen on any site - it is the people that were booked in that caused the issues not the site which does have security and security staff were really helpful. Beach nearby with amusements chip shop and pizzas. Nice ice cream stall. Can walk over hill to Aberystwyth - which I would have loved to be capable of doing.

Nem kedvelték I have mobility issues so the walk to the car was a bit of a pain but maybe having a parking area a bit closer could be easily sorted for the bottom field. Wouldn't have booked if I had realised it was portaloos and showers but was pleasantly surprised and had no issues with them whatsoever and the toilet rolls were regularly restocked

Kedvelték Very clean site, toilet/shower block fab, catered for families really well.
Security on site and a rubbish collector came round every morning. Staff very polite and helpful.

Kedvelték Nice clean site, good hot showers, security never far away and cars are kept away from tents at night so no noise at silly hours.Really enjoyed are stay first time taking the kids camping all went well

Nem kedvelték The club house . Tried to go for a meal twice with no luck . Over an hour wait the first time , the second time was an hour wait , decided to wait this time to be told 40 minutes later they had no chips and couldn’t fulfil the order I was given a refund . Another time we popped in and had a drink , and me and my children witnessed a fight security had to break up . My 8 year old was petrified.

Nem kedvelték The place seemed disorganised as if it was their first week in business. Would be nice if swimming was free for people staying in tents, just like it is for people staying in caravans.

This is only our second year offering camping, and this year we have changed how we run things, including having a new team on board. We were also exceptionally busy during your stay, so we appreciate that this may have affected your experience.

Regarding the swimming, we completely understand your suggestion. However, swimming is included in the price for guests staying in our caravans, as they pay a higher accommodation rate. Our owners also have swimming included as part of their arrangement because they pay an annual pitch rent.

For camping guests, swimming is a separate charge, and this is clearly stated in our booking information before a reservation is made, so guests are aware of the additional cost before booking.

We do appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, and we’ll continue working on improving the camping experience as we gain more experience

Clubhouse was good food good
Very close to the sea and bay
Amazing views and walks
Security Guard Dean was great. He looked after us and the site we were on for 10 hours a day and we felt comfortable leaving our belongings behind.
Swimming pool was great
The little arcade was ok.
live music food options were good around the site.
The walk across to Aberystwyth was pretty and the lift train on the other side was a welcome sight.
My 6 year old loved the place. He went in the sea learned to skip rocks, played on the machines.
The last day we had to leave by 12pm this was awesome.
We went to go to the front to say bye to the sea for 5 minutes and was still there 7 hours later playing and messing about.
The reception staff were all fantastic and helpful.
Shop was good
The campsite was quiet, some kids running around messing with others tents and bits but nothing bad bad.
Loads of room to play
Very laid back place
The Amber bay side of things is all you could want and is just right.

Nem kedvelték Campsite is away from the caravan park and have to walk along a little road and the cars do not slow down or even drive at the speed limit. It’s very dark walk at night.
No hot water to wash up after cooking. Impossible to get pans plates clean after cooking.
The whole site bar the swimming pool and club house is dated, but not bad in any way really.
Long wait for food, to be expected really.
