A aimé Sensible layout and hands off approach but there when issues arise this is a well run site.

A aimé Nice spot with good local produce and friendly owner. Very good off grid camp site with some luxury options. Love the sauna.

A aimé Space and location was great made to feel welcome by family and other campers and users of the airfield. Very peaceful and a good spot for exploring this historic bit of coastline.

A aimé Beautiful location and lots of space. Easy to find and lots to do in the area. Very friendly site manager and fellow campers. Semi wild but the facilities that were there were very clean. Some very good pubs in the local area with great food.

N'a pas aimé The local area around the site had rubbish discarded along the roads and car parking spaces. Also a small amount on the site i.e. a couple of bottle tops and fag butts on the pitch. i do not understand why people do this...it makes you think we are doomed. That's not a criticism of the site more humans in general.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thanks Mark, glad you had a good time. Yes, sadly people do drop their litter which is beyond our control, we have to collect it 24/7 which is a shame. Even with cctv some people just drive off leaving their rubbish all over the grass, in the winter when it floods the river will carry the waste directly to the ocean! Luckily when the site closes the litter finally stops:( Look forward to seeing you again soon
