A aimé We love this site for where it is situated, have coming for several years in a caravan, 1st time camping.

N'a pas aimé If you are not lucky enough to get an electric pitch then you cannot cook with gas, not great for tents or caravans without an electric hook up and not something I was aware of until a guy came round and told us. He didn't offer an alternative.

N'a pas aimé The gate is locked at all times and the road noise starts early and ends late. Forget about Internet connection.

A aimé The set out spaces for the electric pitches. The little boutique shops to look around were sweet but expensive, the farm park was lovely for young children but £55 for a family of four for 2 days was a bit much for what was there but it does have play areas, the crazy golf was lovely but again £27 for a family of 4 you are only going once.

N'a pas aimé The lack of warden and closed reception when we arrived and the day after, there are codes to get into the site and bathrooms which are supposed to be sent on a map with your booking confirmation, we never got these and were locked out on the first evening, we were eventually let in by someone working in the farm park who was also out late, was told this was an unusual thing but spoke to other campers that never got this information either ! The site could do with a children's play area, there are some in the farm park but @ £15.50 each its a tad expensive. A little food shop selling milk, bread etc would save going out to tesco express but that's not too far away in the car.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your review and feedback. Sorry to hear that you had an issue accessing the site on arrival. The site office is only open Monday to Friday until 5pm but the farm park is available for assistance if needed at weekends. The map which contains all the codes is sent by email within 48 hours of your arrival so apologies if for some reason you didn't receive this. There is also a farm shop a short drive away.

A aimé Loved the quietness apart from another caravan putting music on full blast, very inconsiderate! and loved the cleanliness of this site, very basic but who needs more. On arrival someone had our spot , starts at no 5 at the entrance!? We squashed in a non numbered area so not to take any other booking, very clean porta loos and other toilets and shower further away in someone's garden, quite novel, they request you park in the car park, no idea why, suppose if its wet it stops the mud!? Children ran about and made friends, great stuff.

A aimé Lovely place, not too over done, the animals are lovely, the play area is great, the outside toilets are handy but need the gaps in the doors filling, the ground was un level on our pitch and my daughter twisted her ankle and had to go to a and e, nice little shop.

N'a pas aimé The train over the fence going past every 15 minutes till 1am ish then starting again at 5am, don't book electric, stay at the opposite end of the fields
