A aimé The welcome, the organisation, the ease of booking, the view, price and access to the ferry port. This is a beautifully kept site and although we only used it to stop off before our crossing to Calais, we would love to come back and explore the area.

A aimé Very well kept site, well organised, clean and in excellent condition-even the bins were clean! Plenty of space, peaceful and excellent facilities, with good access to local bars, cafes and restaurants, along with being close to Delemere forest. Great bar in Blakemere village too. Ideal for adults!

N'a pas aimé The website over sells the opportunities for younger children. It is ideal for couples/adults, but too quiet for kids. Blakemere village could be so much better, but sadly was like a ghost town, despite being the middle of the summer holidays. This is not a reflection of the site, but opportunities our 7 year old were limited.

A aimé Layout, cleanliness, friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. The cafe looked good although we didn't get chance to use it and the toilet/shower/waste facilities were all very good.

N'a pas aimé Nothing, we had a great break, but it wasnt the easiest place to walk out with kids and the shop could do with more choice of supplies. Great for fishing though. Some people mention the trains but you hardly notice it, its actually very quiet.

A aimé Good facilities, clean and good condition all around the site. The marina, cafe and bar were nice to visit with good food and service. Lots to visit nearby and good access to canal walks.

N'a pas aimé Position of the pitches next to the road, lots of noise on site and the road. Nothing for small kids, such as a play area-although we knew this when booking, but would be an improvement.
