A aimé Really clean and quiet site with all the amenities you could need or want. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back. The area is lovely and plenty to visit, although our favourite day was the day we spent on site enjoying the sun.

N'a pas aimé Showers and taps have no way to control the temperature so if you were brushing your teeth after someone has washed their hands, the water was warm.

A aimé This is a lovely, clean and quiet ish site. The toilet and shower block were never too busy and always clean. The patches were a good size. It’s a nice location, the local village was an easy walk and the Coachman pub did a beautiful Sunday roast dinner. It was a short drive to Scarborough and easy to spend the day there.

N'a pas aimé Signage on site was poor so we ended up fully pitching in the wrong field. Thankfully nobody was booked on the pitch we were on so we were able to say. They either need a sign for each field or to not reuse the same numbers. You are no allowed fire pits which was a shame as it wasn’t the same trying to toast marshmallows on the bbq.

A aimé Lots of facilities which if I’m honest, most we didn’t need such as pub/club house, burger van and Laundrette but I’m sure others find these useful. The one member of staff we interacted with was friendly and helpful and there was plenty for children to do with a play area and games room. We hardly saw our children - especially during pack up time they disappeared! Area was well sign posted and the site easy to find. There was plenty of space between pitches and for cars to park. It was a short drive into Scarborough which we did both days.

N'a pas aimé The toilets are quite a hike from the non electric pitches which is a problem on a night. I found the ladies showers to be filthy the two nights we were there although much of that was down to users mess but the muddy floors should have been cleaned more often. My husband said the men’s showers were fine though. There is a water treatment facility or something very close which is quite noisy and although it didn’t wake us I found it distracting while trying to sleep.

Réponse du gestionnaire : We try to insure that our facilities are cleaned to the highest standard although there are some points in the day when due to high volume this is not possible so i do apologise.

A aimé It was a clean family friendly site, the toilet, shower and pot facilities while limited were clean and well kept. The site was quiet while we were there although I think full. Pitch sizes were generous so plenty of space between everyone and very pretty level. It’s close to motor way so you could be in Chester or in our case Liverpool reasonably quickly. There is a nice pub Just down the road (not sure it’s walkable as you had to cross a main round about/junctions from motoway) but the pub has a play park for the kids and serves cheap and cheerful food with friendly staff.

N'a pas aimé This is near a main road so you could hear traffic noises at all times, even through the night. This didn’t really affect us too much, I am a light sleeper so find sleeping while camping difficult anyway so this did add to that but my family weren’t bothered by the noise at all. There isn’t much else to the site, we didn’t try the cafe or visit the shop so can’t comment on them.
