Emplacement pour tente sur herbe sans électricité
A aimé Loved the remote location and views from the camping field. The 'proper' toilet and sink were a nice surprise. Plus tap water is available from a hose next to the toilet for any washing pots etc.
We loved Brown Moor Farm, we were lucky to be only one of two tents staying the night we were there and had a vantage spot over looking a great view. We received a warm welcome and would come back next year.
We were able to bring our own disposable barbecue and bricks were available to stand it on (no extra charges for this unlike some sites who make you pay to use one of their firepits/barbecues!)
N'a pas aimé The field where you camp is sloping so you are unlikely to find a flat pitch. There are no showers so it is back to basics (this wasn't a problem for us as we were only staying one night but it's worth flagging up if you want to stay longer!)

Emplacement pour tente ou pour caravane pliante sur herbe sans électricité
A aimé Excellent rustic site, remote location - loads of space to choose from so can stay well away from other pitches. Very relaxed. Facilities back at property are clean and in good condition.
N'a pas aimé Nothing.

Emplacement pour tente sur herbe sans électricité
A aimé Option to choose either to stay on main area (where toilets/sink/shower etc. are located) or further away on field.
It is a peaceful location.
N'a pas aimé Location of pitches on field have changed slightly since we visited previously and seemed a bit closer together.
Can't use own fire pit or fuel on the site.

Réponse du gestionnaire : This is the first review in three years which wasn't 10/10. Sorry it didn't meet you expectations. We changed the layout in the field so more pitches got the evening sun for longer. With regards to the fire pit comment it clearly states all fuel used on fire pits must be bought on site. You chose to pitch in the field which has long dry grass making it too dangerous for fire pits but we do provide an alternative which are log burners with spark arresters.
