A aimé Choosing own pitch - got a huge pitch for our little group of families, we loved having our own area to play ball games. Kids loved the piled up logs area and played lots of imaginative games over there Pitches very spaced out, and overall a peaceful site, everyone was pretty much quiet by 9:30ish. We visited and would recommend: - The Hawk Conservancy (excellent) - Winchester science center (great on a very rainy day!) - Charlton Lakeside Park (decent playground, small cafe, beautiful lakes and walking routes. - Stonehenge

A aimé We had a wonderful 5 night stay, the children loved playing in the field so much. The picnic benches and barrell BBQ/firepits were great. Facilities more than we're used to and so handy. As well as loving our time at the pitch, we used the site as a base to visit Raglan Castle, and friends futher into Wales, Bristol and Glouchester. The main field is quite sloped in places but plenty of level pitches round the edges

A aimé Wonderful site, clean facilities and really friendly welcoming hosts. Thanks for a wicked holiday and to rob especially for all the recommendations for different types of beaches and areas to explore in the local area.
