A aimé I really liked this site the facilities were good it’s in a nice secluded spot with a few nice walks nearby and a decent pub for lunch! Not that the site can control the weather but it was very hot so top tip is to take a awning or gazebo as shade is very limited

A aimé Peaceful spot surrounded by nature. Evenings by the fire, a friendly host and shops just a short drive away. We enjoyed it so much we stayed longer and will definitely be back

N'a pas aimé From the get go was not impressed on arrival there was poor signage and the mobile number on the booking had a voicemail saying “please do not leave a message as we won’t call back”… not exactly welcoming! Had no idea where we were supposed to camp so followed the crowd and by the crowd I mean it was over capacity not a relaxing quiet site at all. Never met a member of staff the whole time we were there didn’t know where to find one had we of needed one. In terms of facilities I have nothing positive to say at all they were gross and with only one lockable toilet for most of the stay. Fully aware it’s a camp site and not expecting luxury but I would have expected the toilet to lock, someone did try to repair but that failed and then the door handle fell off! Holes in the ceiling of the toilet light fixtures ripped out! Considering the 15 odd tents consisting of multiple groups if you’re going to allow that number of bookings your facilities should be able to accommodate it…. I would describe it as a shack at best! I won’t be returning - thanks but no thanks!

Réponse du gestionnaire : Such a shame for the team here to receive such a poor review. You didn’t receive the above delivered text at 09:37 on Thursday? Full self check in instructions enclosed and the number you call in case of an emergency says please send a text. I don’t believe that we received a text for any emergency during your stay her Friday - Sunday. Did you speak to one of the 4 staff members on site daily from 8-5pm? A truthful review would have been more helpful to other campers, rather than a half truth. Light fittings ripped out - taken out, not required as no mains and therefore solar system requiring alternative equipment. Toilet handle/lock broken - we did attend and fix however, it appears to have been wrenched off again afterwards. Will certainly look into a possible alternative. Poor signal - not a lot we can do about that! Answer machine - we clearly explain that we cannot answer the phone, as we are too busy on farm. The campsite is a very small portion of our workload here and we simply cannot sit and solely answer the phone each day I’m afraid. The text asks for to a text to be sent so we can pass your enquiry to the correct person. Works perfectly well for everybody else so far I believe. Too many units - we are licensed for 15 units and facilities inspected yearly. We now have flushing toilets. Much nicer than last years chemical toilets, I’m sure many would agree. We are disappointed that you didn’t enjoy your stay with us but as I’m sure you can appreciate we can’t please everyone and that at £25 per night, which includes entry for a family of 6 to the farm (costing £36 as a day visiting family), then campers actually received their stay for free! With 3 of you visiting on this occasion with a 7m tent, I think that we can safely say that you got your monies worth 😊 Many Thanks The Daisy May’s Team

A aimé Perfect host, easy check in and out, good showers, nice site! Unexpected gazebo that made life a lot easier in the rain!

N'a pas aimé Pitch was on a slope which made setting up bits a bit difficult but if it had of been dry it would have been fine! Can’t blame the hosts for the weather!!
