Being given a different pitch to what we requested and was confirmed via email on booking. Not by beck so got disapproving looks from other guests when the children accessed the beck via their pitch.

No views at all from our pitch.

Electric tent pitches are great - you can overlook the river, park your car and there are picnic benches on every pitch. WiFi was good enough for me to use Netflix on my iPad, the wildlife around the site is amazing, Pub on the doorstep, close to some nice beaches, plenty of people swimming in the river and probably pretty good fishing. It’s pretty good that tents are not second class citizens and get a prime location for a change!

Dogs in a neighbouring property bark at a crescendo night and day if anything moves. 50P for a shower is tad old hat, who has coins anymore??

Pitch, site and nearby pub. Location is excellent and service pitches of a high standard. Pleasant sociable owner and eager to ensure appropriate pitch choice.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the country setting, the extremely level and well maintained pitches, the facilities were clean and more than adequate. Free Wi-Fi also available. The short walk to the Bridge Inn for meals and refreshments.

We recently stayed here on one of the super pitches. We are a couple with 2 dogs and we able to choose our pitch on arrival. We had a corner pitch which meant we had plenty of room. Close to the river.

For the first 24 hours the people in tents behind us used our pitch to pack up their car. They spent all morning jumping over the fence to dump all their belongings on our grassed area and arguing with each other. There is a path from this tent area which was not used. This meant we had to stay in our caravan with the dogs in the heat to avoid the children from the tents jumping around near our dogs. The site is advertised as has WIFI however this isn’t the case. The WIFI doesn’t connect for any longer than a few minutes and there is no phone signal on the site either. This was a big problem for us as we were waiting for an update from the hospital back home. You have to walk through other peoples pitches to access the river area.

This Campsite was perfect!
Very welcomed by staff member. All explained. Told us aload of information regarding the area. The stream running along side the Campsite is stunning too!

50p for showers - would rather it was in cost.
