    Nice site very well sign posted. Pub next door is amazing. Food brill and so friendly. Very dog welcoming too!! Large pitched friendly and helpful warden

    Very clean spacious tidy. Welcoming staff. It was perfect for us as 2 couples. We had the option of 3 different areas of the site. Lovely to be able to walk to wastwater and sit by the lake.

    There isn’t really anything to dislike. WiFi could have been a bit better, but this was not a dealbreaker as it was actually very nice to really enjoy the company and disconnect for a while.

    Perfectly situated In beautiful surrounding with very adequate and clean facilities. My stay was quiet and enjoyable and I enjoyed the company of others on site.

    It was a treat to fall asleep to the sound of a flowing river!

    Andy (site warden) was really friendly and helpful.

    I can’t wait to return!

    The nearby pub (Bridge Inn) was very conveniently located but a bit expensive considering the poor quality of food on offer (£27 for a sub standard ribeye steak).

    Great location, beautiful peaceful surroundings on the riverbank ,well kept site ,nice size pitches ,friendly owner , clean pleasant bathroom facilities, picnic tables on the pitch was a nice bonus, great pub within a minutes walk
