River access is poor and would benefit from a proper launch slip for safety. Area around the site is run down and is used by a car boot fair and BCA to park car transportation vehicles.
I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay despite bringing your own kayak to use on the river as many of our guests enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing from the campsite.
The recycling goes into the main bin for recycling when collected and the grey waste goes into the chemical waste area.
The facilities are cleaned 3 times per day over the busy periods and as they are shared by everyone they will not always be spotlessly clean (guests like yourselves who have their own motorhome facilities do not always need or want to use the shared onsite washrooms).
Many guests enjoy the car boot fair(Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday 9am until 1pm).

Two kids in the early hours with a flashing torch were walking round our tent in our personal space. The outskirts of the field were used as a public toilet with loo roll everywhere. People riding motorbikes during the day across the field. It was a free for all. Not enough water hook ups.
I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay or contact us whilst staying here to solve any of the issues you had as stated above.
We did our patrol between 10 and 11pm and a couple of pitches were playing music,we asked for the music to be turned off which it was but could only be heard if very near them.
We do point out where all of the water taps are when guests check-in and you choose where to stay yourselves.
