The electric pitches are closer to the dual carriage way and when there are inconsiderate drivers (occasionally) it can be heard and if a light sleeper woken up. If on a non-electric field further away there is very little road noise.
Perhaps you will visit again and stay on non-electric, many guests use power packs or foldable solar panels to use and also bring indoor and outdoor games to enjoy family time together. There are also lots of country and river walks here away from roads.

A lot of long term pitches of varying quality including a horse lorry that might put some off.
Cant take dog into the pub..thankfully warm and dry when I went.

The pub is the Brewers Fayre, they have a chain of pubs and the campsite does not set their rules regarding no dogs inside, however they do accept them in the garden.
As there were very few staying on site the showers and toilets only had 2 daily cleans during your stay, we do ask guests to tidy up after themselves as much as possible.
