More signs for speed limits through the site, we were lucky where we were but could hear cars throughout the night speeding through the fields to get to the toilets/showers. Would like to see separate adult only and family areas if I was being picky.

We have a 10pm quiet policy which is on Pitchup along with all of our policies and a written hand out of these is given to everyone when they check-in. We do a patrol at 10pm and ask guests to turn off music if it is still being played and to keep noise to a minimum, we only come out again if we are called on the number printed on the front of check-in cards.
We have put up more 5MPH signs.
The only way to have a seperate adult and family area would be to employ extra staff to go with each person when they check-in and wait with them until they have completed pitching up as signs would be ignored.

I am sorry your one night stay was ruined by an altercation, which has left you with no desire to return.
We were informed just before 10pm that the police had been called out. On our way to the incident I called the police to give directions and how to enter the campsite,(fortunately they arrived within 15 minutes), I also called for an ambulance which arrived within 10 minutes. With the emergency services on site we continued with our rounds making sure there was no music playing and that campers were being respectful to other guests.
The police left at about 1135pm followed by the ambulance 5 minutes later, we then did a final check and at midnight could not hear any music playing or loud noise just campers enjoying being outside, however some laughter can be quite loud.
I approached a few drivers not adhering to the 5MPH speed limit and we now have more signs to be put out, with the hand outs given when checking-in hopefully this will be suffice for everyone's enjoyment of the campsite.
