We love the weekend boot fairs too, breaks up the stay for us. Overall it’s a 10/10. We’d also like to see something like a fridge/freezer area for us to re-freeze our ice blocks on the non electric pitches. We really like the look of the other field but it’s too far to the shower and toilet blocks to walk, we’d like if there was another block available in the other field. And we’d also love if they offered a storage solution to store our camping equipment there. We camp there nearly every weekend in the summer and struggle to fit everything in the car. We’d happily pay to store things there ☺️

Unfortunately the office is too small to provide a fridge/freezer, we have a small ice box guests are welcome to use and sell ice.
Many guests bring toilet tents for evening/night time use so they can be in the fields further away. It would be lovely if there was some storage area here as there are quite a few people who would take advantage of this, I will pass this on to the manager.

- They had not been to the campsite for 7 years before they decided to turn up and terrorise the public and staff.
- They were asked at 10pm to turn off the music to which they did until the staff had left and then it came straight back on again going on past midnight screaming and shouting so quite rightly the staff came back and told them that as per the rules they would need to confiscate the sound system until 9am the next morning as they didn’t listen to which they all got extremely aggressive throwing punches at the staff and even men strangling the poor female staff member.
We have been camping here for almost every weekend now for the last 2 months and it’s an amazing place to go, it’s just some people love to come down ruin everyone’s fun and then proceed to moan, lie and complain about it on the reviews so take no notice of them, there are so many fields you can camp on so if there are any big groups it so easy to camp well clear of them, the staff are very friendly and respectful even offered us a complimentary stay for the drama we had to witness

I am sorry you did not enjoy your 1 night stay. As you exit the island there is a sign for the camping and touring park to turn left, as you turn left there is another sign to follow the road around to the campsite entrance. The transporters pay to park overnight in Car Park A which is not part of the campsite but I understand this can look unsightly.
The building next to the reception is the old office which is used for storage and has seen better days. The chemical waste is also for grey waste there are no separate facilities.
The fields are cut on a regular basis and there are lovely walks through them and along the river.
The Brewers Fayre is not owned by The Hop Farm, they are a chain of public houses. I hope you recovered quickly from food poisoning with the test results from your doctor confirming it came from the source you have indicated to take the matter further.
