We had staff working overnight to find the source of the rave and to get police on the scene as promptly as we could. We had to wait 20 minutes for a guy in a golf card to show us our pitch when really reception could have just said which pitch number to go to. I don’t understand why this process is in place as at busy check in times it causes us to wait in the heat and blockages in the car park. When he showed us our pitch he did not tell us anything special so still unsure.

We have the warden to pitch our guests for a number of reasons. To be brief, it manages traffic around our site so not everyone is heading the same way at the same time. We do also have quite strict pitching rules in line with fire regulations so we have to ensure that guests are pitched correctly and also not all of our pitches are the same size so we double check that the pitches suit your needs at the same time. We do hope that this clears things up, however we do apologise for the wait.
