Very nice location. Very nice staff and very helpful.

Wifi didn't reach tents which we believed was the case. The dishwasher machine stanke of old food and fish which was disgusting.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great facilities, nice walks and scenery accessible from the site. Onsite cafe/bar is spot on.

Good central location to bike park, lakes and walks.

Would be nice if wifi was installed around the camp. But not a major issue.

Overall campsite, free hot showers, clean shower/toilet facilities, staff friendly and helpful, onsite pub was great, dog friendly, pizzas were fab along with the vanilla cake!
Location is great, lots of things to do in area. We went to go ape approx 13 mins away and monmouth town approx 7 mins away which we would recommend.

Had a fabulous stay here had to be towed out due to rain but couldn’t fault the stay. Brilliant club house great cider and a gorgeous black cat to smooth n cwtch. Every one so friendly and helpful will definitely be returning. And a thank you to the guy who towed us out backwards from our pitch 👍🏼 facilities ok lovely hot showers.

Due to so much rain entrance to walk to toilet block was so muddy could do with hard core path or something. But that’s it.

Lovely campsite and clean toilet block. Great access to walks right from the site and also easy to get to Monmouth. Really friendly team who greeted us and showed us around.

Great campsite, very pretty, good size pitches, very friendly and helpful owners, great pizza and beer in the little pub, superb location, good clean toilets. Very happy with our stay. Pay as you go meters worked out great for us. Rather then pay at least £10 a night extra per electric pitch we paid same price as non electric pitch and only spend £3 in 3 nights on the meter so saved ourself at least 27£. They even have a dishwasher which came really handy lol

Absolutely everything. Jake and the staff are so helpful and friendly.
All facilities were spotless.
Large pitches with plenty of room.
Added bonus of the bar, with a selection of pop, snacks, sweets, beer, cider, spirits and gorgeous evening Pizzas that are fresh made onsite.
Only a few miles from Forest of Dean (the reason for our stay) but also local bike tracks over the road which the husband and son loved.
There is even a dishwasher on site, £1.50 and takes 4mins. (Didn't use but saw others use).
Lovely hot showers. Hairdryer in the Ladies facilities.
You are on an electric meter, you pay for what you use, so the electric facility only cost us 0.89p. That was to fully charge an E-Bike and a lot of kettle uses for hot water bottles etc.
Allows fire and can buy wood from reception.

Can't wait to book again for May.

If I had to comment something, then the shower heads are a little old with a very wide spray so taking a shower took a longer, but the water is lovely and hot so honestly makes no difference.

Lovely campsite, very pretty. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful, even when we got stuck on the muddy grass and had to be towed out!
