Excellent camp site with very clean amenities and an excellent little club house selling fantastic tasting pizzas and delicious cooked breakfasts. They also have a good selection of alcoholic drinks at reasonable prices. Lovely walks around the lakes and plenty of wildlife. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic place, very family friendly. Have tent pitches with electric and without, good facilities with showers and toilets. Not far from shops and bike park. Also, children can enjoy fishing.

Check ln was super simple, everything explained and even shown around. Everything you need is onsite. Including a cute little bar and some yummy Stonehouse pizzas!

Atmosphere, breakfast was great and great value. Scenery was very nice and good walks close by. Staff were fantastic.

Lovely site on the border situated half in England and half in Wales. We stayed in the English field as we wanted a quieter pitch as the Welsh field had many families with young children. Either way there was plenty of space for everyone.

There is a large cafe on site located close to the farmhouse and overlooking one of the lakes. They make their own pizzas in the kitchen which is handy if you don't feel like cooking yourself or as a treat for the family.

As it's located on a farm there's lots of animals to see including some aloof alpacas, pigs and friendly chickens.

The countryside around the site is beautiful and it's just a few miles away from Monmouth, a very pretty town with much to explore.

The only thing that can be distracting was though it's located in the countryside it's a couple miles from a large quarry. Throughout the day and even later on, large lorries trundle past the site down the main road close to the site. Obviously no fault of the campsite but something to bear in mind if you want absolute peace and quiet when camping.
