Friendly staff. Brilliant cafe/bar. Amenities. Large grounds. Peaceful. Stayed in winter so it was nice and quiet as well.

A lovely sight. Nothing to complain about. Has a lovely pond and lake to view and walk around. And the fact that the site is in England and Wales I found was a great touch. Wonderful location to reach local areas such as Puzzlewood and Forest of Dean activities.

Nothing. Only downside (which really isn't an issue as such) is that there is only 1 small sink in the pot wash area. I had to queue up one busy morning to do the washing up. However there are 2 dishwashers that can be used at a small charge.

We had the most amazing stay here, can not wait to return. They were so friendly and accommodating, amazing pizza and beers 🍻. We were in a pitch next to Dominic the donkey which was a beautiful alarm for the morning, they had everything you needed clean warm showers , a dishwasher which was a beautiful treat. Views were incredible, well priced electric 🙌🏻. Couldn't recommend enough. Love love love and last bit not least the star of the whole place 18 months the cat , what a beautiful little soul 💜

On site bar that also serves GREAT homemade pizza! This also turns into a cafe for the morning.
Good facilities on site, plenty of space.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Also there is a fantastic local pub up the road from the site called the White Horse. Great beers/ales and the food is amazing!

Layout of the site, plenty of space both on pitches and between pitches. Most pitches are level or only slightly off level and have access to EHU for a small fee. Electricity is pay in advance, but any unused electricity credit is refunded on departure. Laundry facility is also available. Toilet and shower block was kept very clean and there was a dedicated washing up sink at the end of the toilet block along with two coin-operated dishwashers. The onsite cafe served breakfast and lunches with pizzas available some evenings. There are two pools available for fishing and both are stocked with clean, healthy, good quality fish, small silvers (up to a couple of pounds) in the small pool and larger fish including perch, tench and carp in the larger pool. There is also a single multi-sex toilet adjacent to the fishing pools. Last, but by no means least, the staff. What lovely people. Polite, courteous and ever so friendly.

Only one fresh water standpipe and one rubbish disposal area. Not a problem for most, but a little awkward for me as I have mobility issues.
