Our 3rd camping trip, this place is our favourite so far. Easy to find, well kept and clean. Water station, toilet and showers super clean and tidy. Exceeded our expectations can't wait to go back!

We love everything! It is a small site that has lots of space for each booking. The owners are kind and chatty and around if needed. My children have SEN and we as a family feel very safe here. The area is stunningly beautiful. Our last trip we were treated to a huge pod of dolphins playing/hunting in the bay and I do believe we even small a whale.

Very peaceful pet friendly. Ideal for a long weekend.

Toilets were clean (and I arrived later in the day and left early morning), kettle available to use and owners were really friendly. Can see the sea from the campsite and loads of birds flying around. It was very peaceful. Access road was bumpy but was apart of the fun. They emailed really clear directions on how to get there from the village which made me more confident I was going in the right direction.

Every thing was great there. The track to the site is a bit rough, but, was worth it. Fabulous location to get to the beach and Seaham. Dave, who welcomed us was very attentive and a really nice guy.
Down sides were :
No hot running water in toilets or washing up sink, having said that, we will return 👍

Lovely peaceful sure with great views. Clean toilets. Clean and hot showers. Site owners friendly and helpful. Covered outdoor communal space for hanging out in bad weather. Short walk through pretty woodland to a pebble beach, which offered hours of entertainment collecting interesting rocks! Nice level pitch with plenty of room for a campfire.

The wind! Unfortunately not something the owners could control, but a very gusty weekend. However, the covered communal area meant we could cook and eat without any issues despite the weather.

Lovely clean and friendly place. Had everything needed from showers to charging points to make sure you have plenty of charge to get those piccies for memories. And a kettle if you happen to forget your own. Perfect for young children no worries of a busy camping site. Perfect views lovely walks and close to the likes of Seaham for a chippy tea.

Found my new happy place! Only 35min away too! Down a bit of a bumpy track, but what a beautiful and perfect little spot for a few days of camp life. Beautiful secluded bay only a 20min walk away and ocean views from the camp site. Great part of the coast for empty, pebbled beaches and hunting sea glass with the kids! The campsite is situated on a gorgeous farm, and you have access to clean showers, toilets and even a charge point for phones/iPads if needed. There’s a kitchen/dining area you are allowed to use if it’s not in use, and it meant we were sheltered on our last night during a tea time shower. It’s quiet, peaceful and secluded, and perfect for solo travellers, couples and small families. With only 4 pitches, couple of caravans, and glamping pods, it was the perfect place to sit around the fire pit, roast marshmallows, stargaze and watch the little ones securely play with their new found friends, without worrying about them getting lost! Just perfect. Very reasonable, and lots to explore on your doorstep! We opted to stay on site for most our time but we ventured into Seaham the first night for some fish and chips on the manicured green, and easington beach (10min drive) on the way home for some last minute sea glass hunting and dolphins!!! Huge beautiful cove and no one in sight! The kids loved exploring the glen at the campsite, which leads you down to a beautiful cove with caves. You can also take a coastal walk if your kids are up to it.

So happy, so relaxed and really didn’t want to leave! The weather was glorious for the most part which obviously helps!! The kids and I have all had some quality family time together in nature. What more could you ask for?

Also, big shout out to Dave, who told us about the area and was there each morning to empty our fire pits and have a little natter to if we needed anything.

We will 100percent return!

Lovely friendly staff, peaceful wildlife haven. The goldfinch pod had everything we needed, and very clean.bbq and firepit were brilliant! Beautiful woodland walk to a little beach and we collected seaglass all day. Beds comfortable

Just the path on way in, no good for a low car, scraping bottom of it needs leveling out badly but this was explained beforehand. Only bad thing about the whole place
