Beautiful location and helpful people on site. The cabin was thoughtfully appointed and the kitchen a dream for foodies!

Quiet site with beautiful views out over the sea. Owners were lovely. Nice warm showers.

Lack of privacy in ladies toilets and no hot water to wash hands in the toilets or in the washing up area.

The site is beautiful however the owner has some anger issues. Arriving in the pouring rain we weren't met by anyone, so we set up. The rain cleared later in the eve but still no one appeared to introduce us to the site, explain any issues parking facilities etc. At 12.30pm the nextday set off to the beach that is a lovely hilly 20 minute walk just from the campsite, again having seen no one that morning. Cue an hour later and an extremely irate man turned up at the beach shouting (!) Telling me I had to move my car 'right now!' As I was parked in a camper van spot (there was no signage and no one had told us in the almost 24 hours we had been on site whilst I was parked there.) I had a sleeping baby strapped to me, and his tone was aggressive and really unpleasant (could understand his issue but was completely the site owners lack of information that meant I was parked in the wrong spot). He then continued to berate our group as if we were naughty children for leaving our food in the communal area, and that he was 'embarrassed by us'... again an understandable issue but as we had had no site introduction and we were the only people on the site we didn't realise we couldn't leave a few things there. Really disappointing behaviour and communication skills from a grown adult. Really ruined what is a beautiful site.

The location was off the beaten track but easily accessible. Quiet site with incredible views of the countryside. Short walk through field and woodland to the viaduct at Hawthorn Dene where you can access the beach and collect sea glass! Loved the fire pits available on site and wood available at extra cost. Sunset was stunning. Met some lovely people. Highly recommend this site.

***** this is not a dislike... just to note there is no WiFi which we LOVED, we used our data roaming. No TV in caravan either. It was beautiful, but just wanted to highlight if these things are important to you!

Clean tidy site owners were polite and nice views.

Only cold water for washing dishes and road on way in was uneven and full of pot holes

The whole site is quirky and clean , has decent clean toilets with little touches like soap and paper towels and lovley wild flowers in vases .
Has washing up facilities available and a kitchen area with a kettle for use and tables and chairs undercover which would be good if it was raining.
Short walk to the beach maybe 15 minutes .
