A aimé : Facilities were good, showers were hot. There weren’t many on site, so can’t say if they stay hot. Our pitch was level and hook up, water & waste all good. Lovely views .

N'a pas aimé: Facilities could be maintained a bit better as the bins were full in the shower block. No staff around to welcome you but we weren’t bothered.

A aimé : Simple but welcoming, with clean, well maintained facilities. Having a communal fridge was a nice bonus.

N'a pas aimé: Guy next to us had music on into the small hours (well after the advertised quiet time). He refused to turn it off despite my polite request. Campsite isn't staffed after hours, so there was no-one available to help with the issue.

A aimé : Location and the bar in the barn was amazing. Staff in the bar were lovely. Kids loved playing in the hail bales. Pitch was good. Site was basic as described. Hot water for washing up

A aimé : - Facilities clean - tranquil spot - campsite not far from attractions/great beaches

N'a pas aimé: - not much for kids to do at campsite - the showers temperature unpredictable

A aimé : Lots of space to pitch, facilities were lovely, I like the informative deco on the walls 👍the barn is great, lots of extras made this campsite 5 star. There were ride ons for kids, haybales to climb, honesty shed with cakes, camping bits, kids bits bubbles etc, local arts/crafts. Also lots of information about the area, places to visit etc. Host was great helpful friendly. Highly recommended for families. Looking forward to our return visit

A aimé : It was very clean, very friendly, wash facilities were great and loved the added extras in the bathroom for things you may have forgot.. great added touch.. 😊 didn’t manage to experience the barn for food or drinks as we arrived abit later than expected. But a lovely stay .. thank you will be back again soon.

Attractions à proximité

Up for a stroll? It’s a good plan as you can set out on paths very close by to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and wend your way down to the coast itself to see the famed Green Bridge. Down at the coast path you could amble between some of the choice spots along the coast, or choose to settle at one or other. Barafundle Bay (10 minutes’ drive) is the big name around here for its frequent appearances on ‘world’s best beach’ lists, but you should also add in a trip to Broad Haven South, walking down past the huge lily ponds at Bosherston (five minutes) along the way. You may well find the surf waves and beach café at Freshwater West (15 minutes) calling your name too… As well as coast, all trips to these parts should include at least one castle – Pembroke (10 minutes) and lakeside Carew (15 minutes) are your top spots nearby. If you’re here with the nippers, drag them further back in time at the Dinosaur Park (20 minutes).
